Cheers mate. The price/quality ratio had me curious as well.

I have the entire complete series of these very cheap and nice watches, there are 7 versions, I like them a lot and I can guarantee that they all work with the same precision! I bought 2 of this luminescent, I really like it. 😃

Good review! I have Soki watch in black almost 3 months and still working,I'm pleasently surprised! It's loud clock but It's ok for the money ⌚🔥👍 I paid 2,5$ 😂

I paid $A3.41 for my SOKI luminous dial watch. The back of the watch is unmarked stainless steel. The case is alloy. It rides well on my wrist. I like the watch, so I bought four!

I think, for budget, it's lume is better than the other watches. It can glowed for 8 minutes

For a $5 timekeeper its great.

They actually left the back blank now lol, just got mine today and i love it, just as i imagined when i seen it online, and yes, its going to be part of my collection lol, it just looks really nice compared to other watches i seen and im a picky dude, i will be getting me a second one as a backup, cheers.

Hope it fits and suits well. Only advice would be to avoid a thick strap, otherwise the watch sits too high and straight on the wrist.

Picked one up for $1.87 delivered, works fine,light as a feather, worth at least $2.00!

Still keeps perfect time surprisingly as well.

I bought this same watch about 18 months ago. It works fine, but the small lines that are between the numbers have started to erase. I have only used it indoors and have not been working while using it. I guess that's the price to pay on cheap watches. Better to buy the Timex Expedition Scout instead.

I love it, but the case was not good, bcs made of poor zinc alloy. For everyday used in 2 years on nato and zulu nylon strap, it had corrosion on case and the spring bar cann't applied again 😢

If you’ve always wanted a lumed dial watch or just want something to tell the time with, it’s good for the price. But just remember it is a very budget watch so it’s not a fancy piece.

How do you replace the battery?

Remove the caseback, remove and replace battery (carefully), check its ticking away and snap caseback on again. This video might help (NOTE: you'd follow removal method 2): kzread.info/dash/bejne/q6CnrNR7iNOxhs4.html The video mentions the caveats with changing a battery yourself but given the watch is less than $10 you won't cry too much if you make a mess of it.

That's for that I have all the tools to remove the back from watches only this one has nothing to aid in the removal of the back cover I believe that it may be glued together

Mine cost £2.99 lol. For value, it's the best watch out there.

Very hard to argue the price.

I got this watch for 3.4$ 1 year ago for the fun. The sad thing is that the lugs not having any curve makes the wearing experience bad. I wanted to utilize a super cheap watch for cooking, gardening and throwing around the house with toddlers etc but the uncomfortable lugs and the lack of any water seals makes this a no option. I'm currently waiting for a synoke 9032 4.3$ digital watch to fill that space. It has a chrono function for cooking, nice curved lugs and i suspect it can handle a wash better than the soki. The SOKI has 2 good things. 1) it is one of the best watches i own on accuracy, 2) it made me realize i don't like full lumed dials!

Glad I wasn't the only one that had issues with those lugs. Made the thing almost unwearable. That 9032 Synoke looks pretty cool. Let us know how it wears when you get it 👍

@@troppotime9179 The synoke 9032 is here finally. The watch is super comfortable to wear. Its 41.6 mm wide with nice curved lugs and a soft enough strap. It can take drops and running tap water with no problem. It has the basic functions of digital watches (time,chrono,date,alarm) and all work fine. Also the luminescence is nice and readable. It's good looking enough for what i want from it and not a copy of anything. Overall it is a far better product than the soki and surely a real usable watch for 4$. I recommend it.

Been using them for about 12 years.....buy them 5 at a time....battery dies then throw them away.....can't be bothered changing battery

Given a new battery alone is about half the cost of this piece your rationale makes a lot of sense, especially if it’s a watch/design you enjoy.

Westerners complain about a sub $5 watch that even has a mineral glass crystal. The cheapest Casio F-91W is now upwards of $20usd with a resin crystal ! Quality sorry to tell you is the lowest cost item that performs as good or better than one costing more that delights the customer and not one that costs more for no particular reason than a silly brand name !

For a watch the price of a slab of chocolate, it infuriates me that the main flaws here are design flaws, not material issues, it isnt curved enough, the text is over the top, the date thing is hard to read, the hands are awkward sizes Yet somehow they managed to fit a mineral quartz crystal

You’re not wrong. Also saves you time and energy.

It's a poor design choice to have that style of hands on a luminous dial - they're almost camouflaged.

Good point. When I checked the video again I realised that the silver edges are the only thing keeping it legible in the daylight.
