Lyrics: Spectrum of Eternity
[Verse 1]
I feel I’m done with this shell of mine
Separated from the one I knew
I’ll kill every minute on hold
While the ocean brings me back to life
I’ve lived, I’ve breathed
I’ve learned to be deceived
Sheltered for what it’s worth, forced to make it work
I feel I’m chosen to see what others haven’t seen
It’s not a tragedy, it’s just reality
But how it makes me believe
[Pre-Chorus]
Now I see a spectrum of eternity - The remedy is yours
A thousand of demands
A never-ending glance of fate
Of fate
I’m yours, I’m yours
[Verse 2]
Three years since I was reborn, a brutal insight
Never knew it could do
So much to stir my soul up
It’s been relentless
I’ve felt deprived of my own life
Stuck on the other side
Of who I was enlightened by
[Chorus:]
Embrace me
For one last time take me there
Something’s out there
And it won’t lead me astray
[Solo]
[Bridge]
Embrace me
For one last time take me there
[Chorus]
A thousand of demands
A never-ending glance of fate
Of fate
I'm yours, I'm yours

Björn "Speed" Strid is pure awesomeness :) He does a lot of work with smaller bands to bigger bands. Listen to Soilwork for years and one of the top bands for me. Did some vids with In flames back in the day ^^ Awesome that you guys likes it too :D

YES! Finally some Soilwork, one of my all-time favorite bands. You should do more Soilwork reactions. Björn is also good friends with Devin Townsend and Devin also produced one of their best albums Natural Born Chaos, released in 2002, in which he also did backing vocals on 2 of the songs. Björn at least in the early days idolized Devin as far as I know so he's definitely influenced by him vocally. This track is just balls to the wall fast and aggressive but they also have a more melodic side, songs like This Momentary Bliss from the same record as this song is also great. More of a mid-tempo song with a good mix of agression and melody.

"Natural Born Chaos" is in my top 10 all time metal albums. When that came out and I was introduced to it, life damn near changed. Actually, Nevermore's "Dead Heart In a Dead World" and Soilwork's "Natural Born Chaos" both were absolutely ground breaking for me.

The album this song is on, The Living Infinite, is a double CD with 20 songs. It's a masterpiece from start to finish, to the point that I might call it the best metal record of the last decade. Recommend you check out "Rise Above The Sentiment", another one from the same album with an official video as well. That one is my #1 most listened song in the last 11 years.

i'm a fan of soilwork since a really long time, 4 times at a concert and i never regret a single one i feel happy for you that you heared them, specially with a song from the infinity album what is in my opinion a freaking masterpiece you really should go deeper into this band, you won't regret it also björn did a lot of 3th party guest vocals for a ton of bands, where i'm now fan of too check out T.A.N.K. - Blood Relation or Allegaeon - Proponent for Sentience III just if you want ;)

The singer Björn's also in an 80s-sounding Classical Hard Rock band called The Night Flight Orchestra, that sort of sound fits his voice very well. I'd even say most genres fits his voice very well, very versatile singer :)

Soilwork is amazing. Speed Strid is an incredible vocalist. Soilwork is one of the original pioneers of melodic death. Really can't go wrong with them. They've released 10 or 11 studio albums and it's all amazing. Check out the title track from their most recent album, "The Ride Majestic".

My friend and I went to Rockharz Open Air and Soilwork were suppose to play there, but they never showed up (some health problems I think), so Ektomorf played instead - good show. Honestly, I didn't mind that change, because Soilwork is not really my cup of tea, but I've never seen them live, so I thought that maybe I'd love them as a live band. BTW like I said in my previous comments, I suggest you do a reaction video to *Mgła - Exercises in Futility I* (from YT: *Brutal Assault 21 Mgła (live) 2016* - the first song on that video) for Polish National Independence Day on November 11th, or *Satyricon - Mother North/Phoenix/The Pentagram Burns Live At Opera*.

You should check out "Namesake" from "Graveshadow". It is a very small and new band with a female singer (growl and clean vocals) combining death metal with symphonic metal (i guess). Definitely worth a lock!

Insane guitars, more insane drums, even more insane vocals, and yet they convey that into an actual song that has movement, structure and dynamics. And the entire double album goes like that. And here's the kicker, they can pull it off live. Heart S'work.

Not my normal genre, but I can't help but like the song, anyways, a fast power metal song that I would suggest would be Edguy - Babylon (live in Sao Paolo 2006) or a really powerful 11 min song I would suggest Avantasia - The Scarecrow (The Flying Opera)

Okay, I have a lot to say about this so here goes. First of all, Bjorn Strid is by far one of, if not the most, versatile vocalists in metal period. Something interesting, go to his wikipedia page and look at the list of songs he's had guest vocals on. Everyone wants to work with him. If I can recommend a couple of his collaborations to check out, I would say react to Celestial Furnance by Disarmonia Mundi for more of the melodic death metal sound and react to Crater by Earthside to hear more of his softer, clean vocals.
