SOFTBAITING For Mackerel | Ajing Fishing - Auckland Harbour

Ойын-сауық

The AJI are back in town !!!!!! A fun softbaiting session during lockdown for some Jack macks ( aji ) for the bait freezer and to cook up. These fish taste great when panko crumbed. They also make great sashimi
Enjoy !!!

I love watching fishermen doing things a bit differently. Good to see a new way of appreciating these fish.

i aji fish without tongs and its a nightmare using rags and washing hands between fish. im going to invest in tongs, they are very useful..

Awesome vid man. I'm bloody jealous! I've been trying around Herald Island/Hobby Pt up here but I guess it's too early. I don't know any other spots, not even going to be on the board for the comp!

thanks! I plan to soft bait this time, rather than use sabikis. I haven’t done it before but looks fun and much more convenient than bringing sabikis and bait.
