NZ Wharf fishing with Aji lure

Ойын-сауық

Hello and welcome to Basic Fishing from New Zealand. In this video, I did a mix of where I showcased my new fish finder in action at Lake Pupuke where I was able to land 2 perch on the kayak and decided to try some wharf fishing using aji soft plastics for the very first time. I was able to land a parore and a spotty. Not the most productive video I've created but this is the reality when fishing in winter.

Hey Mate, I'll be coming to Auckland for holidays and I'll be fishing for 2 days, but I've never fished in NZ before, I did some quick research and that's how I found your channel. I'm currently looking at spending one day on the salt in okahu bay on a rental kayak from fergs kayak going for snapper and the other day at Pupuke lake, perhaps also on a rental kayak if you know any place near Lake Pupake that rents out kayaks. Any thoughts or suggestions? Cheers in Advance Albert

the closet place i can really think of is Canoe and Kayak(its a kayak shop but also offers rentals). its not far from lake pupuke. but other than that, i can't think of other places that rents out kayak at the lake.
