Basic_Fishing

Hello to the people of the internet and welcome to my KZread Fishing Channel, where I share all of my basic fishing adventures in New Zealand. I enjoy fishing and every time I get the chance to go out, I always take my camera to capture all sorts of awesome actions on the water. I consider myself a 'basic' angler as though I enjoy fishing all sorts of methods, I also like it to be practical as well. If you enjoy any of my videos please like and share them around and please subscribe to my channel for more fishing videos. Plus make sure to check out my social media for more unseen contents!

I love the videos but I find it really difficult to watch with the mic quality you have and the wind constantly peaking on the mic. (And constant loud breathing 😂) I hope you invest in the right get equipment to block out these noises, it could really improve your content quality!

Those kahawai are both tiny release them to get the population bigger, unless your desperate for bait, But good content 😂😂

Most fishermen I know, don't bother to measure their snapper, instead we like to have a slightly bigger minimum size, say 33cm or thereabouts. It gets easy to judge after not long, without thumbling around for a measure and at the same time playing a part in conservation. It just seems like the right thing to do. Take what you need, give what you can

The reason the S.A Surfcasting Rod has a short butt is that it is still pretty common in SA to use a Scarborough reel. To cast with a Scarborough, you need to have your hand close to the reel so you can apply finger pressure on the drum to to prevent an overwind on the cast. Try that SA rod with an Australian Alvey surf side casting reel for some interesting 1:1 action !
