Great video. Try printing the blueprints and use Technical Drawing methods when creating the various parts. I think you would make something really nice.

On the side panels to the hood and the part between the middle of the cabin did you just glue them together without tabs? I didnt see any in the video, if so do you do that for a smoother look?

I do models with soda cans as well and not just cars in 1/24 scale I do airplanes, tanks,windmill, dragons , spaceships scifi and real space ships. But for the cars it's usually only for demo derby style build for the 1/24 scale cars

How neat to add remote control and some ballast and have a derby.

2:52 "attached the bottom" can you go into FAR MORE detail how this works, how strong it is, what's the trick to get it to not come apart, do you use hemostats or clamps, how long does it take to dry,... thanks -J

it is hot glue..... takes a couple of seconds to apply to a piece and then you touch it to the other piece. It sets in just a few seconds after you put them together. I 'm sorry for being vague. I assumed most people know hot to use a hot glue gun.

In your next phase, maybe some glue in the open seems, then sand them smooth before you paint, just to fill in the cracks. I think you did Great. i need to try this
