Thank you for this tutorial, it was an awesome Birthday gift for my father.

I built the time machine for my 16 year old daughter, she's a total back to the future nut. It turned out pretty good. I got a bit lazy tho and used an old photocopier mother board pieces for the time machine components. Thanks for the cool idea Dave.

That bit at 1:19 using a thumbnail to smooth the bend sent a shiver up my spine. I can envisage some children holding up their finished, bloodstained DeLorean with tattered stumps thinking "Fingers grow back, surely!" I think it also wise to point out that this model car is also a fire hazard if pushed above 88.8 metres per hour.
