Dude you need to get Pcsx2 downloaded on a computer. There’s a site that has the emulator with ps2 loaded ready to go. Even the DNAS servers are set. I was able to run it on a shitty computer and yeah it sucked but I got to get into the rooms and play on the maps. I got a better gaming computer with the Ryzen 5 and it works flawlessly. Now it’s just typical socom lag. lol. So much fun. Last Friday 98 people were in the lobby. It’s a lot for a private server.

Confrontation was probably one of the best, and kind of the reason why the community revived it.

Combined assault was my 1st socom game. It's 2023 and I just found socom 1 2 days ago this is gonna be good

SOCOM 3 will for ever be untouchable for me. S_U 4ever

1 is so nastolgic to me, I loved playing it when I was 5-6 in 2012/13. I even looked at some old saves and I made it to the final mission. I don't remember ever being able to beat it though.

Combined assault is amazing

Ftb 2 was so fun. Hacking ruined it but still fun

I remember playing socom on PSP in our highschool auditorium. Me and a buddy beat it over a few classes passing it back and forth. I loved it. I get that people like the other games more but this game was as good as it gets for handheld about 17 years ago

Socom 3 had a lot more variety, larger levels, more weapon options, larger teams and vehicles but nothing compares to the gameplay and level design of Socom 2. Just something was off with the controls of Socom 3. Maybe it was because I spent 1,000’s of hours on Socom 2 so anything different just didn’t feel right. My clan use to play mostly just ranked matches you had to sign up for on a Website. We would get in chat rooms with the other Clan for the time and server, have an admin. Shit was good times. Definitely my favorite online game ever. I was ungodly with the M16, you would think it was full auto how I had the timing down.

I loved FireTeam bravo 3 Wraith is my favorite character. A true commander in a game. Is like one dude being with his buddies in a adveture. Sadly lonestar die in the nothern cliff in Russia. I woulf like Socom goes back but like Squad and Arma 3 but for consoles and crossplay between Xbox and PS even if it can run Switch 2

So I went back and played every socom there was. Gotta be honest I played combined assault the most. It is extremely underrated.

Definitely the hardest 😂 them jungle ones with the mercs especially 2 the hardest was the defend the embassy roof one 3 the Poland ones CA was easy all the psp ones were easy 4 was easy Confrontation was my favorite one Tilly and Gladys

Honestly all the ps2 games of socom and psp games of socom r awsome I enjoyed them all my favorite ones r socom 3 1 and socom fireteam bravo 3

It would be so great if they could bring this game back. This was for me the most enjoyable game I’ve played to date (along with splinter cell).

Socom 1 had abandoned (daylight) and it was perfect, very realistic and great combination of stealthy seals vs more lethal terrorists. Socom 2 was a little more run and gun, it had pmm mines (hated them) and the health bars sucked imo. But new game modes, fishhook, and other great maps guns and thermal weapons all major improvements. 3 had vehicles and just too many players, it became more of a crazy battlefield game and i just felt it was going off the rails.

Those original 4 Socom games are the goats like crazy. I’ve had them all since they came out. Memorable theme songs, soundtracks and gameplay. 🥹 Back when these were just fun video games and not the realistic cinematic garbage games that come out today. 😤

I have the full ps2 collection and all psp games except tactical strike. I think fireteam bravo 1&2 are underrated as it's basically mobile S3 and CA.

They messed up after number two I remember this game being like a simulation it was ahead of it’s time. If we ever get a revival of the series needs to be like the first two original games
