Totally agree with you, socom 2 has the perfect dificult to be "overtrained" to complete socom 3 and socom C.A. I really love the customitation of socom 3, specially with the m16 a2, you can wear a grenade launcher and a high scope and that makes it a monster assault-sniper rifle. The history from socom 1 until combined assault is quite good, I think including fireteam bravo 1 and 2, that have a nice feature with crosstalk objectives. Nice video!

I love the SOCOM games, especially SOCOM 3 as it was one of the first PS2 games I have ever played. And I wish that SOCOM could have had a prequel game or games of sorts that takes place from 1962 to the year SOCOM was formed. I always wanted to see weapons such as the M1911A1 and the M60E1 in a SOCOM game and camo such as Tiger Stripe and ERDL.

I felt FTB3 was a solid game on its own. The single player for the most part was pretty easy and was a bullet hell compared to its predecessors, but all the new additions (most notably a 4 man squad) made it worth a playthrough or 2

IMO 1: Socom 2 (By A lot) 2: Socom Confrontation 3: Socom 3/Combined Assault 4: Socom 4 (Never played Socom 1 but it seemed a lot like Socom 2 so I would put it up in top 2 probably.)

Ahhhhh always love seeing another socom head like myself! I’m 39, always been into games, me n my dad played gold cartridge Zelda together on NES as a baby, had SNES, Sega, N64, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, but life changed once I discovered online gaming in like 02-03 with Socom! And by 04 I had the entire Baltimore online on Socom lol we use to have 2 routers, 6 TVs with 6 ps2’s online playing clan wars in my basement!! Funnest times ever!! If I could go back to anytime it’d be then!

Proximity mics were one of the best inclusions of Confrontation. It allowed chatter between enemies audible within a realistic distance as well as enabled team players the ability to communicate tactics when close without creating unnecessary chatter. The sprint button was stupid.

God I wish they'd reboot this series. Classic tactical shooter.

Gotta be honest CA is hella underrated. I find myself playing that socom more than other ones.

I think Tactical Strike should be included in this list. To me, it's more of a Socom game than 4

Buuu man Socom FireTeam Bravo 3 was the best one on the psp. It was the best military third person shooter on the system. Maybe it was different than regular Socom games but on its own it was the best one.

My list of the SOCOM games i played and are my favorite: 1. SOCOM 3 2. SOCOM CA 3. SOCOM 2 4. SOCOM 1

I share your thoughts on every other online shooter never living up to the 1st 3 Socom’s. I rarely play online these days because nothing feels as good as Socom. I did buy another PS2 a few years ago with Mcboot software and played Socom on Xlink, it was amazing to play it again but I stopped because it was so laggy (back then I didn’t have great internet, and a crap PC for Xlink software which may have contributed) another reason I stopped was because there were only Americans and Canadians playing, and being from the UK I had to wait up until around 3am before anyone would start playing 😂

@@yapper2465 That's going to be difficult. I don't own any of those game or a PSP at the moment, so I would have to wait until I am able to get hold of one. Also I would have to find a way to record on A PSP. But for now my plan is to do killjoy then the ZEMY, then the Iron Brotherhood. I'm mostly gonna focus on the first game, unless anyone has any special requests

they were definitely the most cinematic and fun to play through. I wish they were more difficult though. Socom 3 gives me the most nostalgia out of all the games

Only reason I like Socom 1 more than 2 was because the guns were more balanced and useable. In Socom 2 the terrorist guns sucked so terrorist were using the M14 mainly and the god gun from number 1 the aks74 sucked so bad

I'm never really interesting in socom 4 it's not my favorite I love socom 1 I love socom 2 I love socom 3 And socom CA is pretty cool And also fire team bravo 1 and fire team bravo 2 and fire team bravo 3 is ok too I never played those but I've watched it on KZread
