The feeling you got when you played games like this was unmatched.It seems now developers are only interested in how shiny they can make everything look.Will they ever pull their head out of their ass and combine the technology with the same care in the gameplay present here?

That game gave me such thrills ! I remember being SOOO proud finishing each of the series ! Specially the first one, in which you could die at any moment in less than 1s if you rush too quickly without any checkpoint !

Still to this day it stands up to new games.

I loved this one! One of my favourite levels! This one, the first level, and lockdown! I'm so glad I kept my ps2 and this game!

Nostalgia feels :(

The Bonus Objective in this mission is finding the bomb blueprints. They will be on a desk in side the drug lab; it should be near the barrels where the satchel charge is deployed. Taking these blueprints means that in the next mission, bomb defusal won't take as long.

Collin Ethridge the plane carrying the drugs is spawned near Delta. when alerted after the drug lab is toast, it begins to load up and fly away causing mission failure. if you're having trouble on a much tougher difficult setting just equip a rpg then grab the rpg-round out of the drug lab. afterwards get to the edge of the mountain where you suppose to leave bravo to over watch then do your best aim here and fire at it blue crates.

Took me 5 hrs to finish this mission. This mission reminds me of Clear and Present Danger jungle scene

Found my ps2 a while ago and some old socom games ^^ started playing yesterday, brings back som old memories, just a shame they have shutted down the online servers.... so i have to play these old missions :3

wow i maybe 13 but i grew up with this game on the ps3 brings back a lot of memories im gonna try to buy the newest one

I'd always have a problem finding the lab for some reason, but after playing this game countless times, I found the map of this area in the previous mission as a bonus objective, and that told me where the lab was xD

Every time I get down to the canyon the RAFB soldiers come out of nowhere it's like wow I'm fucked.

I'm playing this mission at the moment,and I had to come get some help from one of these YT tutorials cos I don't seem to know how to fire the RPG against the plain,I have it on my back but it doesn't show on the character's hands...Let me fast forward on the video as I'm not yet in the point of the video where we should blow the plain with the RPG...

When we found the underground drug lab, I climbed down there with the team, and Vandal killed himself somehow by falling off the ladder.

You missed the back door of the lab, it's an entrance covered by vines

Oh hey Stormer, what did you use to record this bro? I would love to record some footage on my PS2 but i can't think of any way to route it to my PC, not very tech savvy but i been learning more and more.

SOCOM 2 had the best levels.

if they do a remake of it, will be probably just be another shooter, will needs to maintain originality, with a better mechanism of gameplay, how to walk,run, and aim, with a unique artificial intelligence, and a way of co-op for three more people, would be very intriguing and nostalgic, unfortunate that most companies of these days are just making games to get money, I really miss this game. I live in Brazil and these missions are making me laugh so hard, the accent is hilarious.

Man, idk about you guys but that mission with flatfoot... omfg was it bugged to shit! I remember trying to get him out and he kept dying on a crate on the ground lol. He would walk on it and *CRACK* broken neck like he took a 300 foot plunge lol. Good times though aside from some glitches. I remember beating it on hard to get all of the outfits like the russian chick.

finding it's easy stopping it is hard as hell DAMM!!! the last time I did this mission the y plane flew away I think one of them died .

You can still play online through xlink! But yea campaign is still killer.

My stealth could be soooo much better. But then you're looking at 2+ hour long videos.

How can you explot stachet

A remake as in a HD remake not socom 5 or whatever. But An HD remake thats done right and the controls are good. Same button layout but they need to adjust for the difference between the dualshock 2 and 3.

Thats why socoms ranked matches have no respawn. If you run around you will die. quick....

I use easy cap. Its cheap. Plenty of info on youtube.

You have to go near the gas cans and then you'll find a satchel when you TC for it

The bonus objective is to find a map in the drug lab which is on a table in the darker side of the lab

dont know, i do not like the controls, so if a want a remake, just recreate the whole game, of course, keep the originality and the story line.

Well it seems you blew it up with the satchels...I'm a keep looking for other videos. By the way all these dialogs in Brazilian Portuguese from the enemies are full of badly pronounced words,I'm Portuguese myself so I know what I'm talking about,I wonder why they didn't called real Brazilian people to read the on-game dialogs?Umm let me guess,cos it's cheaper this way...

Jake Torres it's a tough one but the end part you got to be on your A game after you destroy the plane the enimies seem to teleport out of the jungle and can get you killed easily

yea. I'm old school though, i would rather play campaign, its more realistic and has actual somewhat realistic objectives, rather then running around shooting random people, re-spawning and repeating. that shit is monotonous.

This game... A big loss for the Stealth/Millitary games genre. Rip S.O.C.O.M, Rip Metal Gear.

Melhor SOCOM, Até o 3 era bom o 4 foi uma bosta, parecendo free fire. Jogo bom é assim não pega sangue, 1 arma longa, 1 arma curta e granada, Opções de algemação, coronhada e facada, só isso. Por isso SOCOM I, II e III são fodas.

MEJOR JUEGA GTA5

Yeah and that detail makes the game a bit less cool and less classy,not to mention that it's fuckin ridiculous to keep hearing a bunch of words being pronounced in a silly way...Portuguese is one of the ten most spoken languages in the world,actually it's the 9th...

Don't buy Socom 4. It sucks.
