I was just watching this because I just got PCSX2 (PS2 Emulator for PC).

They really need to bring some of these games back, update them, and released on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox 1, especially SOCOM: U.S. Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo. That's my opinion, though.

This was the first game I had for ps2. So many memories

Throwback to some old good game! I remember back in 2009/2010 when I was playing this game, it was my first ever game, and still to today in my opinion one of the best games ever!

socom1-combined assault were my favorite times ever in gaming. i can't believe we can't get something close to this in 2015. it blows my mind. even confrontation was funner than 99% of the shit out now

Commander Hairgel not only do i know of h-hour i was a donator and had it before early access. unfortunately it was a hot mess and i have little hope it will ever make it. i stopped playing because it was only 1 lobby of ppl playing. it has to go to console to have a chance because they have no shot of getting more ppl playing on pc the way i see it

***** i agree 100% except to me the main issue with confrontation was 7 maps at release and it took forever to get dlc. it was not enough content to keep ppl interested. that said ppl saying it wasn't like socom or it was unplayable are morons becasue it was a super fun game, unfortunately everyone stopped playing by the time dlc hit. i have always partly blamed the bitchy community for socom's downfall because there really wasn't anything wrong with confrontation beyond what we said yet ppl blasted it which forced them to leave slant six and have zipper do something different with it. fyi, i realize zipper was the original games, but slant six did a good job on confrontation bringing socom to next gen. i just wish they delayed it until there were 10-12 maps

yea me to. i still remember how happy i was when i gotmy own stg-77. lol. a also loved the characters in 3 the scientist lady nad the guy in the suit. i was always them as a terrorist.

I can do this mission without any damage when i was 14 , i Love stealthing missions on this game !

It was better than any COD or any other shooter game in my opinion, it was pure gold, I'm upset that the studio was shut down, we could have a new Socom game for ps4 by now if it wasn't shut down :( I miss socom to be honest, it made made my ps2 days amazing, Sony you need to bring back Zipper Interactive!

I remember me and my dad playing the whole franchise together, 1-3 was great! 4 let me down.

Something I really liked about socom ca was that shooting someone who gives up would fail you as it’s a war crime now if I did it on accident then it made me pissed and shooting assholes who lowered my health then surrendered was fun in socom 3 I remember you could kill your teammates in socom 1 which was odd

This brings back so many good memories

agreed. most ppl who say they are stealthy really mean they are campers. camping was effective but i chose to run and gun and i beasted campers. if you planned your route and knew the choke points and danger areas and had good gun skillz i think run and gun was the best strategy because campers can only watch one way. once you knew how to look ahead to spot the camping you had the advantage. god i miss this game. i wish i could dance on a corpse right now, not the lame teabagging in COD.

Remember dying countless times to my team mates because I kept shooting at them after I beated the game,10/10 would die again for this game
