There are multiple ways to change colors/yarns for heels and toes. In the video I do bith the heel and toe with a faux russian join.

Aw thank you. I don't know the logistics. I would have to reach out to erlbacher and see how that would work. I know they host wonderful crank in events near them. I could definitely do some research.
Were you able to locate the Etsy store that you got the foot charts from? Or, maybe you did and I missed it 😮 Love your videos. I need to go through them for October to see if you did a start to finish totally ribbed sock. . . You’re doing way better than I on your Speedster. I had one and sold it and am waiting for my Tru-Knit. I do have a LeGare, but have basically given up on ribbing. I appreciate the remind of the e-wrap on a previous episode though because I’ve been using Juana’s and had forgotten about the e-wrap.

I typically knit a forethought afterthought heel on my self striping socks. Is it possible to put in waste yarn or a rip cord over half-ish of the stitches so I could pick up and knit the heel by hand afterwards?

Yes! You can. Actually Jamie just dhowed it on Sock TV and the last episode is always free. So if you go there this week to socktv.com you can see her do it for a thumb hole but it would be the same concept.
