Larry sets up every story like dominos. He takes an entire show to line them all up and topples every last one of them down at the last second. Masterful story-telling, very tidy, no waste.

Larry could have handled this much better. She let out her "ahhhh" as he was preparing to hit. He could have immediately acted annoyed and like he was pissed off that her noise interrupted his shot. Too much hesitation. Yet another bungled hit by the Social Assassin 🤣

This plot was similar to the Seinfeld episode where Jerry and Elaine set up Kramer to say something about Wendy Malicks hairdo( don't remember the characters name). Both written by Larry David and both very funny. Seinfeld was funnier because Kramer did it unwittingly and actually liked her hairdo. Of course there are lots of similar plot lines because the same.person created and wrote both shows and both are way funnier than most of the crappy sitcoms on TV. I love neurotic obsessive Jewish humor.

I don't think he is necessarily rehashing Seinfeld jokes. Apparently some of the improbable events portrayed in Seinfeld are based on actual experiences by Larry David. So he may be re-using real-life experiences. Works out the same, though.
