Couldn't agree more. His work with DOA is unequalled. He was great in Black Flag and Circle Jerks. Haven't heard much of his later work but he's definitely a classic punk drummer

Hell yeah! Love his energy in this video despite his age.

I saw these guys in Houston for the first time in 1996 when they were touring WLWHWT. I snuck into the club through the side door and watched them soundcheck. Afterwards they walked over and I got all my stuff signed. Mike asked if I was excited for the show and I mentioned to him that I snuck in and didn't actually have a ticket, he smiled then asked my name and told me "you're seeing this show now, Dave." Stang up guys, were Mike, Dennis, John and Chuck. Super cool and down to earth people. Mike walked by when Chuck was signing my Danzig vinyl and mockingly said "Mother!" Lol. RIP Dennis Danell.

Man that's awesome! That's my favorite album, he never came to my city for that tour...only surrounding cities. I heard Mike is mad cool...he survived Cancer good to see him back on tour! He won't do much of this album at all.. Untitled to me is the best song on that album..

one of the last concerts my Dad visited. he there saw SD for the first time and went on to buy all their Cds. he loved their music. R.I.P. Dad * 1942 - † 2012. still love & miss you 😢

Holy poop! The sound and visual quality of this recording for 1997 is outstanding. This is what punk rock dreams are made of. Thanks for uploading.

Chuck gave me a drum stick after a Danzig show at the Celebrity theater in Phoenix in 1992 I think. Glen Danzig was kind enough to give me the bird in response to my flipping him off first. Great memories of my youth.

Chuck biscuits really was the best punk rock drummer of all time. Rip!

It’s wild when you make a list of all the influential bands that Chuck was in, even for just a split second.

The sound is perfect! Everything is as it should be, the guitars bring flavor, the bass holds down the low end, the drums pierce through it all.

Chuck Biscuits is killing it! And Mike Ness is a punk rock dream boy! "The way she Comes when I Tell Her To" 😊

This is them at their best!! Chuck Biscuits can't be beat!!

got that right I totally agree!! Best era was Dennis and Chuck in the band, just my opinion. Lucky enough to have seen that lineu numerous times. In Philly show one time Chuck came out from behind the kit to back up mike who was getting crap from knuckleheads in crowd that swung on him. Man, I would not wanna get a beat down from Mr. Biscuits, he looked psycho, got halfway into crowd before security pulled him back. And props and respect to he brother Spit Stix, who, in my silly ass opinion is the best hardcore pun drummer ever. Peace all!

We saw Mike at the tribute to Cash in Cleveland. He burned the damn place down with "Burning Ring Of Fire". The show was over when he walked off the stage. It was what it was. I was there. TREMENDOUS performance.

Phenomenal video & audio quality. You can see the drops of sweat running down Mike's face. And Boy, he looks like he was lit!

I saw that first on VHS rip. Today this live closed 26 years. Still on of the best rock & punk bands in history.

By far the best SD lineup!!!!! 🎵🎸R.I.P. DENNIS 🎸🎶

Iconic Moment: The funny guy at 4:00 who walk over the Stage with a Beer in his hand……this was the the time before 9/11 and fucking Corona. Ohne of the best shows i ever visited.

Rockpalast always had the best sound of any live concert show Bands never sound better. . The Big Country one is off the damn charts also.

My upmost respect to Mike Ness when he started social distortion in summer of 79 I got hooked immediately with punk but back pleope we're negative of us punk rockers they use to fights with construction workers and the high school football team but we had to unite and kick some ass and we prevail victorious

DerEchteBold No kidding ;) There are very few in the music industry that have their own indisputably unique sound and Mr. Ness has just that. To me his sound is as unique as a fingerprint and as recognizable as a loved ones voice.

Just Gold top, stacks, pissed off with heart & passion. 👍 None of these fucking stage props & fashion shows. That’s why they’ll never top White Light again.

What happened to Chuck Biscuits??

That was the highlight of a rather boring Rockpalast night. Because of "Don't Drag Me Down" I immediately bought "White Light, White Heat, White Trash". It's just a pity that the song "Can't Run No More" only appeared much later on the special version of "Hard Times And Nursery Rhymes".

I was at that show. Social D at the top of their game, if you ask me. They had really found their style, beyond cowpunk, and before mellowing down into an americana-rolling-stones-copy. What can I say, Mike was a style icon for years, influencing thousands of greaser punks, and if you look at this video, you can understand how every boy wanted to be like him.

Absolutely hate I was wrong, other than that Social Dx rules, been seeing them since the beginning

They have changed a few times, only Mike Ness is the constant. Personally I like the current line up the best. Although I do like this set up as well. White Heat White Light White Trash Sex, Love, and Rock and Roll Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes are my three favorite albums of any band anytime.

Everything about them is one cliche on top of another cliche. Every song is three chords that can be learned in two minutes. Their look is some sort of stereotype of what guys 🎉looked like in late 40's early 50's. But hey who am I to talk, they "made it" are semi-famous and lived their dream.
