I coach basketball. We do something I call the NFL drill. Split team in 2 groups. Start with a time to complete the drill in, say 65 seconds, 9 trips, wall to wall, approximately 33-35 yards long depending on the gym we are in. When group one finishes, group 2 starts. Complete the drill, 2nd trip has less time to complete, say 60 seconds, group one goes first again followed by group 2. Great condition drill. With that said, I can see me adding this Beep drill to our current drills. Now, as some said above, the kid in the orange penny closest to the camera cheated on every trip. If I was the coach, he'd had gotten an ear full from me.
The kid closest to the camera in the ORANGE PENNY cheated the whole time, he Never ran line to line the whole time, he always cut both sides short 3 - 5 feet.....
