That's the same night and concert where Regine was suffering from a severe migraine and was rushed to the hospital right after the concert. She was slaying all the songs while in pain. What a dedicated and professional artist!

@@ninaschofieldyou should try searching for videos of her singing still even with a hoarse speaking voice. It’s almost magical how she is able to do that. She really is a show must go on type of a person :)

Pretty emotional concert and you can see the fans not even disappointed about it. But regine decided to repeat the same concert coz she said the fans didn't deserve less.that concert made me and everyone respects her more.

This is Regine Velasquez beast mode. I have been to one of her concerts in Araneta Coliseum and she sang this Live. Oh girl!! The power in her voice is beyond this world. She will pluck you out of your seat and swing you back and forth with brutal force. Regine is a beast LIVE.

The way Regine delivered this song in this performance was truly something else. Her artistry is on display here. She ended that note at 4:20 and followed it with a line still so tender and soft. Her command of her vocals to match her emotional intent, specially during this time in her career, was just stunning and out of this world. At 10:28, that octave jump was her interpretation of the line "should I just forget about you when all my heart is SHOUTING is 'YOU'RE EVERYTHING TO ME'". Martin's version might have that intent too but wasn't delivered with such intensity as how Regine did it. Try reacting/reviewing her performance of Papa Can You Hear Me during her One Night with Regine Concert. That performance to me was just perfection. It was immediately followed by her performance of the song A Piece of Sky but a lot of people miss the perfection of Papa Can You Hear Me just because A Piece of Sky is a bigger song with higher notes. I always love your reaction and commentary on Regine. I hope you'll keep them coming

The song is Martin's original so he started the song in his original version and then Regine continues with her cover version.

Regina had a very beautiful voice back then. Now over 50 it's lacking a little bit.

Also I don’t know if you noticed, Regine’s body and facial movements are minimalistic here; definitely very understated, no melodramatic facial expressions or hand movements. Not needed - she tells the story through her voice. In fact you don’t need to watch her to understand the story - you just need to listen to her voice.

This is one of the hardest songs of OPM. The chord progression is so hard to sing. Only few are brave enough to touch this song in any philippine singing competitions.

Regine in her prime was out of this world greatness. Thanks to KZread, we can watch her great live performances. But I have to say, having watched several of her concerts in her prime, she sounds 10x better when you're actually there. Recording quality in the Philippines, especially at that time, was not good.
