Great performance. Musically it's largely exactly like the original, which is impressive. Vocal lacks tone control and ability though, 1:53 is off, 1:57 is horrendous. Finally the vocal seemed to redeem at 3:06, but then 3:12 happened, in which the climax of the original melody was bypassed. Still great overall, but it's bothering me to hear the potential of absolute perfection not being reached. It's one of those songs that must be honored by properly replicating it, unless outperforming it (which isn't feasible with this).
@caror281

Totally agree with you. It could have been a perfect performance.
@You2ubeTool
2 жыл бұрын
Fuckwit. It's a live performance, and it's wonderful. Why the fuck would you nitpick tiny details like that, and exaggerate flaws to the point of claiming they're "horrendous" - when the overall performance is a thing of beauty. Nothign in that performance was "horrendous". It's very likely the original artist could not have performed it that well, in one go. Or maybe they could, one day, but not the next. Or they could, if given the chance to do several warm-up takes, before a final take. These artists just sat down and bang, they produced this almost fuckin flawless performance. Yes the original is a bit better, it is flawless, and there are some nuances on the vocals that this lacks. But, i mean, seriously, wake the fuck up, and just enjoy a beautiful performance. The original recording will always be there as the benchmark to aim for, but that doesn't mean anything that is microscopically imperfect is 'horrendous".
@TheMrTape
2 жыл бұрын
@@You2ubeTool Firstly I was generally praising it as a whole. Secondly, the imperfections in the vocal wasn't microscopic, they were astronomical when they did show. I was being realistic and fair. Sugarcoating negativities doesn't help improve, neither does mentioning the positives (but I still did). If the singer was to listen to you they wouldn't feel the need to improve, while if listening to me and themselves, they'd feel the need to improve (assuming they can handle critique); thus your blind and ignorant praising doesn't achieve anything but unfairly stroke people's ego, so it's not really worth anything long term. It's called feedback, if it's not realistic and blatantly honest it's useless. Lets be real here, it's not a difficult vocal piece; -no way in hell the original artists couldn't pull it off flawlessly every single time- scratch that, I just realized the original is done by these same people... Guess the singer just wasn't up for it that day; can't fault her regardless when she achieved the original, if just once. Seeing as these people created the original, I have nothing but respect and praise for them; it's one of the best and most emotional pieces ever created, so good it fit right into the best series ever created, Breaking Bad (let's not mention Dark), and truly added a lot to one of it's greatest moments; gives me chills and teary eyes every time. Congratulations.
@You2ubeTool

@@TheMrTapeI came in here to tear you a new asshole, because yeah, i also noticed yep, it was indeed the original artist, which proves my point completely. So yeah she doesn't need you to tell her she didn't quite match the recorded performance. Just get it through your head though, that the human voice is not a flawless machine, that can repeat the same thing indefinitely. Many singers have a voice that *CAN* achieve perfection, some very consistently, but most... less so. And some are terribly inconsistent, and terrible live, all the time, but give them some time in a studio, and they *will* produce perfection, they just need enough time to do a lot of takes. In any case, they know perfectly well when they nail it and when they don't, quite. That's why live performance, especially for singers, you just have to have some more realistic expectations, geezus christ. Overall, the performance was superb, she recreated the feel, absolutely nailed it, except for a few tiny bits here and there. And they were *not* awful dude, they were just a hair off. Fuxache.
@TheMrTape
2 жыл бұрын
@@You2ubeTool Lmao dude.. Why do you have to piss all over people and degrade them with all your might to make your point? It all kinda falls flat then, especially to the average more easily offended person. You might say I pissed on these artists, but rather I was just realistic, I didn't insult them like you did me, it was just basic feedback. That said, even for a live performance it's quite bad; a singer really isn't much good if they can't always hit intermediate tones, that's just reality, don't pretend otherwise to gain points; instead try to respect yourself, your dignity and your opinion, be confident in it. I usually prefer live performances, eg. "Magnetic Man ft. Katy B - Perfect Stranger BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge" in which she also negates the high note of the original, yet I highly appreciate the performance because it's still very wholesome and highly talented, tone perfect, and it isn't even the original orchestra. In contrast, only the orchestra of this live performance was enjoyable. I don't have to lick assholes for the sake of it, and neither should you; I refuse to pack my words in wool or hold back truth for the sake of the potential of someone's feelings getting hurt; perhaps they will grow some thicker skin and learn to take fair criticism like a healthy adult; I'm confident enough to adamantly stand by my opinion. It's ironic, you hold back the truth regarding this artist while you're not shy to let it rip on KZread commenters; is it because she's a girl and your subconsciousness doesn't want you to potentially scare girls away, because your confidence can't handle them distancing themselves if they're unable to take the criticism, and because you'll be unable to remain confident in your opinion if they do take offense? Are you even mentally strong enough to consider that?

Fuxache.

Well she was a little out of tone
