At start I thought it seemed like stranger things: missing boy in other time/dimension and everything is a mystery, but then I found out that this storyline is only a small fracture of the whole show's plot and oh boy I was blown away afterwards by everything and realized that I was stupid to even compare Stranger things to this masterpiece

The ending surprised me, but it gave me a relief. Earlier on season 3, I was stressing out on how would they unlink the "origin". I knew they can't bec Jonas and *REDACTED* had sex. Bringing Jonas to the *REDACTED* world already forms the tight knot, let alone them having interactions. Also it would be more appropriate if you told that the show has 3 bad things because there is light and shadow, adam and eva, but in reality there is a 3rd entity between them. Oke I'll see my way out. sksjsks

What I love most about Dark is it's depection of how people deal with the past. Allmost all of the characters are haunted by something that happened in the past and as they try to make sure it will never happen (again), they end up repeating the same mistake or causing grief to someone else. It seems like a metaphore for how sometimes we become obsessed with our grief and cause so much more pain than nessecary.

@@leleprtk I feel exactly the same way. I remember seeing comments like this when I started in December 2022 and was like I’m in for something brilliant here. And indeed I was. I wish I could erase my memory and watch again. I have the same thought after playing the video game Red Dead Redemption 2. Both dark and rdr2 are things I would want to watch and play again without any prior knowledge of what’s in store. Masterpiece.

@@ankushraj9583 I also just watch the first season and the first episode of season 2 and than stoped. But one day i read more about Dark and people like here calling it the best they ever watched. So i gave it another chance and watched season 2. After that i had to watch season 3 and it really flashed me. It really is one of the best thought out storys i ever saw, it really was worth it. Dark gets deeper every season and i feel like the first season is for some people a bit to slow and the ending well is not satisfying. But because they planned the whole plot from the beginning you need to see everything to understand. It like you see one third of a painting. I can only recommend you to give Dark another try and watch the second season.

This show is a masterpiece. I know people associate the word masterpiece with a lot of shows and movies but DARK is the most complex the most convoluted and the most fucked up show I've ever watched and yet it all made perfect sense. The plot the score the acting everything was so on point. Not a lot of shows make me question everything that I believe in and give me an existential crisis, AND YET I WILL ALWAYS HAVE AN EXISTENTIAL CRISIS AFTER WATCHING DARK. God bless the people who wrote this show.

One of the greatest sci-fi stories ever told. Straight up. They pulled off such an intricate web of characters, timelines, worlds, and relationships in only three seasons. It's a travesty that this show isn't more popular than it is, but they've already cemented its greatness with this final season so that's all that matters.

It's actually way more popular than you think. It's not as popular in German as it should be, but in other countrys it's very popular. I'm German and it was nearly a week top 1 in the top 10 list on Netflix. I really love Dark and the final or end was really great.

lol don't think that's got much to do with german discipline :'D I mean the stereotype might be correct we stick to the ruled a lot and that probably makes us didciplined but it also makes us kind of rigid. Normally TV shows in germany are simply okay all very similar to one another definately nowhere near dark. It is a masterpiece. I love how they mixed in some german stuff into it and since a lot of the german TV shows are not that mindblowing I am super proud that Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese have created such an amzing Show. Actually I only watched dark last week and not before because I was so sceptical about it being german :'D

​@@pavan__226 Because each cycle is not the same. In every cycle there is verrrrrrrrrryyyy little change which can't be observed but it exists. Let's say the knowledge of Claudia in the first cycle was 0% about the origin world. But next time it was 0.000000000000000001% (you can include more zeros after decimal 😂) it's still like zero, but actually not zero, as I said very little. Cycle by cycle here knowledge goes up and lets say after hundreds, thousands of cycles her knowledge related to the origin world becomes 1%. After millions, billions of Cycles she almost know everything but still not all things, then after trillion, quadrillion or maybe even more cycles, she finally knows everything about the third world. During all the cycles she made changes to her past self a little more and finally made enough changes to have conversation with Adam (old Jonas) in the final cycle. It's like making an ocean by using drops. It's impossible but still possible. It's like the butterfly effect ( you can search on the internet about this to understand better).

Couldn't believe if there is a good show that gets better than this. *TRULY A MASTERPIECE*

My best friend recommended this movie to me a year ago. He died of leukemia on January 21, 2024. I'm sitting and watching this series now. He will be my best friend in every universe. Thanks to him for this series.❤

The work of photography in Dark is seriously out of this world. Every shot feels like it could be hung in an art museum.

The series is a masterwork. It's probably the best piece of storytelling I've ever seen. And it's the music that so often pulls at your emotions and propels the mood. The theme song alone captures the essence of Dark to an extreme degree.

the dark : is the best series ever : has no comparison with others series : is the best sci fi ever : is full of plot twists : has the best love story jonus&martha ( better than romeo and juliet) : will make u no tears left to cry

"Dark" is, in my opinion, the best show of all time. It just stands out to me, in terms of everything, compared to any other show I have seen in my life (and I have seen many). "The Leftovers" comes close, but "Dark" is more complex and ambitious in terms of structure . Also, for those of you who haven't, watch "Dark" in German, it is on a completely different level. The actors and writers deserve all the awards.

I watched in German audio with English subtitles. I always like to hear the actors voices and intonation. And now I know how to swear in German, lol.

I agree. I haven't seen anything that compares to the perfection that is DARK. Everything about it, the casting, the acting, the music, the cinematography, the story, the character development... It has everything I want in a show.

Dark is the first show I watched that got me thinking about how good it was weeks after I finished it, what an amazing show. Baran and Jantje, you are a power couple.

stranger things just does the same thing every season, has 80s nostalgia as a gimmick at this point and wasn't planned out at all. DARK builds the world and characters every season and feels like one big story in the end. I'd take DARK over stranger things any day

@@Kita-zj9zi Explaining everything and not leaving the audience space for interpretation would've been bad. Open endings or at least partial open endings are widely considered as the best way to end stories since it leaves the viewer thinking of what COULD be. It's about letting the viewer's imagination run wild.

@@Kita-zj9zi Okay, that's true but that's the only relevant thing which they didn't reveal and they also explained it a bit because they told that Claudia tried everything what she could do but Regina always died and she didn't understand that so she asked herself if there's maybe another world. I can't tell you how she knew what happened in that world or how she knew how to get there but I think she has already been there to see how everything happened.

Try Lix if you listened the what her and Adam was talking (final ep or ep 7), she said “her world and Adams world” so it’s not our Claudia that we used to know. I don’t if that helps :/ ---- Where she got her info? I think she got all her info from Eve because she’s knows about the loop and that cave thing (time stops for a second thing). Eve can ended the loop but choose to not do it :( ----- If the Adam’s Claudia killed Eve’s Claudia then how is she still alive? Well this situation is similar to Martha’s one where one gets killed by Adam and one doesn’t. There might be two Claudia going around. ----- Edit: We can also say in her 33 years, she probably did trial and error method. If in that case then there’s a possibility that she went to the cave when the explosion was happening and accidentally found the bridge that connects the 3 worlds. Probably that’s how she knows how to get there.

This show's finale was as satisfying for me as of Breaking Bad's. Incredible.

I personally felt uneven because so many people couldn't get their happy endings even though they deserved theirs just as much... Regina needed to be free, but so did Mikkel, Charlotte, and Elizabeth... I love Dark, but I really really can't say the ending was satisfying, even though it still felt cathartic.

@@user-iy7jo7bq4f The ending was absolutely satisfying. I think that you didn't really understand the ending. Mikkel, Charlotte etc. were part of the knot and shouldn't have existed in the first place (that's why they don't exist in the main world). It is kind of a happy ending since both worlds (created by Tannhaus) are now gone and only the one and only main world exists now. Everything is back to normal.

Tell a kid that he shouldn't have existed, I dare you... They were born into two ill-fated worlds, but it was never their fault. They were just byproducts of a cruel joke, and yet, they were sacrificed to bring out a better one, while those who happened to live without the existence of the Knot were enjoying the fruits made by those who were unmade. The end of the suffering for one group was to live out their lives happily, while the end for the other one was for them to be destroyed... It's an uneven outcome; even a child can see that. The ending of Dark is great because it's not satisfying. It's cruel and ironic. It's bitter sweet.

this show is not for Everyone, the character organising, cinematography, BGM, plot and character development, the acting...... it's just superior to 99% shows out there in every aspect imo.

How everything's is perfect in Dark - the story, the way to tell the story, all the characters old young mid age , actors,music,cinematography,editing. A pure joy for cinephiles

This show is a masterpiece, I wish it hasn’t ended but everything that’s beautiful has its end... But remember, the end is the beginning.

@@udeetsahoo80 Because time travel has to exist to prevent the invention of time travel itself, so somehow the loop has to come back to existence. So another infinite loop of existence and non-existence is created. So it's all a giant paradox and a temporal loop.

The greatest show ever written

Never seen a show this perfect. It expects a certain level of commitment from the audience but once you get the hang of it, you get so much in return. Such an intricately detailed story that gives you an ecstatic experience throughout. Almost every aspect has been nailed to perfection and that's not a statement you could make for 99.9% of the shows out there. My absolute favourite 🙌❤️ Would love to watch it again after some time when the details get hazy in my mind.

I love how this video just don't spoil anything and for the ones who not watched the show it shows how amazing it is, and for the ones who watched it already and who love dark, it is like nostalgic memory ❤️ I cried, I love this show

This might be my favorite show ever. It really shows how much work went into it. Beautiful video as always!

NOTE: This show is highly complex. It will challenge your intelligence and critical thinking capabilities. The screenplay is extremely slow and might test your patience if you don't put your complete concentration and and interest in it. Hence it is best to watch this show when you can dedicate your time,intelligence and concentration.Defying these 3 things might lead lead you to dislike the show which would be completely unfair considering the sheer brilliance of the series.

While I appreciate this show I still find it to be dragging quite often. One example: I still don't see why we had so many sex scenes between Magnus and Franziska. We already know those two are into each other, why so many sex scenes then?

from last year my brother is telling me to watch this and i ignore him and thinks it would be the same old time travel shit but due to this pandemic i was so free and started watching this and it turned out to be the best series i watched in my whole life best thing covid give to me is this free time to come across this gem of a show

this series deserves more recognition like got stranger things or squid game they were good but I never seen such a series that is perfect from the start and perfect till the end maybe breaking bad but I like dark more and it's memorable to me going to rewatch again one of my favorite series

One of the best shows out there hands down

We can all agree to this: It is highly unlikely that there will ever be a better show about time travel. Dark pushed the topic to the limits of our minds and held it perfectly on the verge of our imagination.

Dark is the best Netflix Original. Never believe anything else.

This show is a masterpiece work of art. Very few shows can even compare.

This show blew my mind. A rare feat when something can keep me engrossed for every single moment and every episode.

Even just by watching this show, feeling to be a part of it, it is really overwhelming and makes me happy everytime i think about it. Like what would it be to live in a world like that and be a part, or witness something like that. I'm kinda in love with this show. Thanks to such great creators that made it possible.

This show is more than a masterpiece, it is a world heritage! ❤️

The greatest lesson on the life and existence of the human being and its dynamics that TV has ever created. ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE

Very nice Dark montage - it is, at points, an absolutely gorgeous series - I was particularly impressed with the visuals in season 3, but no question, throughout the series one is keenly aware of a cinematic eye behind the camera concerning how shots are lit and composed. It is not a show I'll forget and it rates among my favorites: Watchmen, The Leftovers, and now Dark.

My #1 show of all time. There is nothing like this.

Best show all time in my opinion.

I want any memory of this show , wiped from my brain … so I can watch it all over again… Gargantuan masterpiece… Nothing comes close , and may never again get close to the quality of this show …

Just finished this series. I watched this video a long while ago bc I was interested in seeing it, not knowing what dark was. Now that I’ve finished the show, I came back to watch this video again. What a series. The most complex, layered, confusing, intricate show I think I’ve ever watched. Definitely one of my favourites, no doubt about it. Shows like Dark are very hard to come by. Especially for it to be executed so well. I wish I could watch it again for the first time now haha.
