Hi Lisa! Thank you for watching & supporting! :)
Another awesome informative video. Thank you Greetings from Miami 😅😅
Looove this! Needed a new method of tracking my COGS! Question: since FL OZ & OZ has a different weight…. do you calculate your liquid oils in FL OZ and your butters/powders/clays in standard OZ? -or- do you calculate all ingredients in standard OZ?
This really was a great help to me formulae and all. But how do we do the over head? Im having trouble calculating that. help would be greatly appreciated

Hi! Thanks for watching & that's a great question. I do a loose calculation for overhead. Once I learn a more efficient method, I'll definitely share here. 💚
How do you compensate for the oils we buy are sold in fluid ounces and the soap we make is in pound ounces? Or doesn't that even matter/ I may be just splitting hairs here.

Sorry about the delayed response. I calculate my production costs using a spreadsheet. That calculation is the foundation for determining your prices. Here is the link to purchase the pre-formatted spreadsheet...just input your oil costs and it calculated for you! www.etsy.com/listing/1085928096/soap-supplies-cost-tracker-worksheet?ref=listings_manager_grid

@@TheElementSoap welcome
Please, please stop swirling the pointer on every page and all over the place. It does not help. The viewer gets dizzy following the pointer. You cannot listen, read and follow the pointer at the same time.

Thank you for watching & commenting! My brain likes the pointer but I was totally unaware of that perspective. I will keep that in mind for future videos! ;)

@@TheElementSoap the pointer is called a pointer for a reason .-) [btw: you don't need a hidden formula to round a number. Two options: Select the range of numbers you want to affect, (1) on the "Home" tab click on "Decrease Decimal" (a small icon above the number tab) OR (2) on the "Number" tab choose the option "Number" then choose the number of decimals and Bob 's your uncle. ]
