    The best video tip ever. After installing a hydraulic clutch on my 2000KLR and having no clutch and going back to a new cable WTH no success and then replacing the clutch entirely with no success I did your tip and everything works Thanks

    Had that experience you speak of: "Oh crap, I think I broke this thing". Figured it out and was greatly relieved.

    I've seen so many posts over the years I figured I'd make a video for people to reference and help them figure it out.

    Sir, I wish I saw your video before I tried to change my clutch plate last week. I broke the clutch spring under that arm on my Z800 when trying to pull my clutch cable out that notch…

    Are you supposed to be able to move it with your hand

  • @DualSportADVmoto

    @DualSportADVmoto

    Жыл бұрын

    It can be difficult for some depending on hand strength, but yes you should be able to move it at least a little. The main thing you are looking for is it's position. If it's sitting flush with the case is is improperly installed. If it is pointing back from the cable over 90° in relation to the side of the engine - it's installed improperly. If you haven't pulled it out of the case or turned it by hand there is little chance that it is installed wrong though.
