I guess that's why he didn't know what to put outside the exit, cuz he can't fathom the concept of a world outside of his world in the digital zone. He wants to help them escape but literally doesn't understand.

@@poppiaria Exactly this. He'd give the universe on platter to his guests if he could, but he has limits. Remember, he can't influence minds. But if he could, I'd imagine that Kaufmo would have been fixed right up and not shoved into the basement. Or that Abstracting would be seen as anything other than a short timeout that someone needs.

I find it so hard to believe Caine isn't malicious because he's based on AM from 'I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream' and if you've ever read that story or played the game the AI in it is one of the most cruel horror villains ever designed.

I love Caine, hes sketch af but his character design is soo good

@@DaGuy23RandomDud I really hope that's true. Caine is absolutely the type of character who'd turn out to be the "twist" villain in these kinds of things. But that's been done so much the "twist" is nothing but a cliche at this point. It'd be great if he actually is a good guy, or at least doesn't turn out to be evil, since it sounds like him being evil is what a lot of people expect.

@@testinggame5631I think he is just a program who doesn’t mean to be malicious, but he also doesn’t fully understand what is morally appropriate or ethical to put humans through. I rather feel that the A (probably Abel) we saw in Pomni’s exit maze will be the antagonist.

There's a theory that the exit Pomni went through isn't the same one she saw because the first is orange but when she goes through it, its red. Another theory is that Pomni is only there because Kaufmo abstracted, replacing a clown for a jester (entertainer themed) this branches off into once an animal character (jax) or doll (ragatha) abstract, they get replaced by someone in the same category. If you look closely at the doors with a red X on it there's a queen chess piece who is theorized to be named "Queener" and people like to think that used to be Kingers wife I just thought of something but when Pomni goes into the void Caine says "They'll get totally spoiled." Spoiled is a strange word to use because Pomni looked more shocked in the void then "spoiled" (spoiled as in getting everything you want). The end clearly shows that the void plays a huge part because its the last thing we see before seeing the real world (theorized to be Pomnis desk). I really do think that the Void is the way out some how, Pomni's name also translates to remember. The void is what could have made her remember something because after everything is over, Pomni doesnt actually say anything. I think Caine said spoiled as in she may get spoilers, even if he meant spoiled in the other way, all Pomni wants is to leave.

Another theory that’s out there is that there really is no way out. Escaping the void will bring you back to the computer in that room, still part of the game. That’s a better explanation as to why Pomni looks so shocked. Only time will tell as to what she actually saw in the Void.

My favorite theory is that the inhabitants of the digital circus are only copies of their original consciousnesses. At some point, each of their original selves put on the headset, downloading a copy of their consciousness into the game. The originals then took it off and left, unaware of the fact they've just created a clone of themselves in a doomed existence with no way of returning because they're just copies.

My favorite is definitely Kinger, something about those insane ramblings pleases me.

@@Hotsoup3179 i don't know how anyone could confuse Micheal and Brandon, they have very different energy in terms of voice. edit: nvm you guys are talking about personality wise... which still doesn't change much. Blitzo gives off a different vibe from Angeldust but it's been so long since the Hazbin Hotel pilot most reactors have either forgotten the names or chracters in general.

The reason Jax is kind of Blitzo vibes is Jax's VA is the same person who played Angel Dust in the Hasbin Hotel Pilot

I think the concept of abstraction is pretty unsettling. The human mind breaking so much to the point where the in-game characters literally bug out.

Fun Fact: Pomni’s va is Lizzie Freeman, which also voice Meggy Spletzer from SMG4, Ena from The Ena Series, and Yanfei from Genshin Impact.

Honestly the theme song for the show goes pretty hard. I would not be surprised if there was ever a game made based off of this since the concept would work so well, (of course I'd only want to buy an official release). I absolutely love the character design too, idk why people on Twitter and other places were shitting on this so much, the animation looks great, the voice acting is good, and the character designs are really nice. I'd love to see more, and I'm glad you're supporting Indie Animation with your content, Scoot.

As a 3d artist and animator, I feel I can shed some light here. It's because those detractors are a bunch of _JEALOUS HACKS_ venting about their _raw lack of talent or work ethic._ Trust me, I see it all the time.

What I found cool about this animation is that you never know what could happen, their world is so vast that any creative direction could fit in. I don't think I could get bored of watching it if it was available for several hours, My favorites are Gangle and Pomni, they are adorable

I love how Caine is voiced by the Spamton dub guy.

20:10 its crazy how everyone says that, i get it since its surreal and then its in a bland office, but i was surprised to see how many people said it reminded them of Stanley parable

Btw, Kinger does not have 2 rooms, the room with an X on it was a queen piece, also Kinger is a white piece and the x’d out queen is a black chess piece

the first door that has an X on it is actually the black queen like chess white king and black queen, i think the reason they have an X is because thry have been abstracted like kaufmo was abstracted, thats probably why theres so much of the black eye thingys in the cellar, they are old ppl who have been abstracted and put in the cellar

What to do in a situation like this is to go Zen. If you're in a hopeless situation you need a mental balance to stay stable, and the best way to do that is acceptance. Oddly enough Jax, the rabbit guy, has the best strategy. He's going with the flow, going with things and just reacting. Don't doubt for a moment that he wouldn't jump on the idea of leaving if the option presented itself, but he won't drive himself insane looking for it. He's riding this crazy wave and not getting swept up by it. Which is what I'd try to do. I'd personally see what kind of body I have first and then see if there's some sort of long term thing I could accomplish. Like a mastering an instrument, learning to juggle or just exploring every inch of the crazy place to map it out in my mind.

Fan fact. Idk, is there a theory about it, but the word "Pomni" means "Remember" in Russian. And XDDDC is another code. It means "OUTT" The exit or smth

Bro Murder Drones is so good! It can be hard to follow the lore though; sometimes important lore is randomly dropped in sentences that you don’t think are significant and then they turn out to be later. But it’s really entertaining to watch, I highly recommend!!

Caine is the teeth guy, the ribbon one with the mask is Gangle, the one that was taken apart by the gloinks is Zooble

I would Recommend taking a look at Glitch Productions other series like Murder Drones by Liam Vickers or Meta Runners as some examples. Just note that Meta Runner season 1 was created with a lot less funding then the later seasons so know that the quality improves as the show goes along.

Fun fact: jax is the youngest, being 22. And he actually disliked by everyone

The reason why Jax is such a likeable dick is because Michael Kovach, (the actor for rocky in lackadaisy, N in murder drones, Fantoccio in billie bust up, and WAS the actor for angel dust), bought so much charm and charisma to him. That's what makes him such a cool character that gives off. "Imma kill you later, dont worry." Vibes. Also, according to michael, he's become a tumblr sexyman now.

I just watched it yesterday and omg was I wrong, I thought it was going to be something that I wasn’t going to be into but it was SO GOOD! It was so funny to! The people who created it to have a good sense of humor! I love it when Kaufmo was fighting in the background, and the animation was really choppy lol. I should’ve never doubted it. And don’t get me started on that music 👌✨✨ and the fact that this is just the pilot? Unbelievable.

I think the vibe Jax gives you is AngelDust! His voice actor is the same as the Pilot from HazbinHotel! As well as AngelDust, he also reminds me of Alastor, his smile is practically identical! XD!

Caine's my favorite character, I love Alex Rochon's performance as him. He's also got a truly fascinating design, I like how the animate his expressions, with his eyes inside a pair of teeth that he talks out of, so weird. Edit: If you look closely, the room with the X over it that looks like Kinger is actually that of a Black Queen chess piece, as opposed to a White King chess piece like Kinger is. Presumably that's Queener?

I absolutely ADORE Ragatha, Zooble, and Jax.

I think kinger (the chess piece) had abstracted or went insane and Caine had made a new one of him or a new kinger had. Came (probably just like Pomni got stuck(. Just my theory😊
