This to me stands up as one of the greatest live performances I've ever seen, this song is a old Korean folk song that tells the story of a north and south Korean dream of reunification, this is her own arrangement 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️
Sohang is Amazing and she gets better and better
"Ariang" is a very old Korean folk song, and the origins of the word are quite diverse. It generally conveys the meaning of the pain of love or a beloved person. And Sohyang always puts her effort all of the songs she covered. She is renowned for actively participating in the arrangement of every piece, and this is one of the ways she showcases her creativity. In this rendition of 'Arirang,' Sohyang portrays the sadness of the division between North and South Korea, expressing a hope for reunification. 'Arirang' here seems to symbolize the beloved individuals (people from North and South Korea who cannot meet) who are dearly missed. Yes, Sohyang occasionally makes pitch mistakes, especially when she is not in good health.(We all know her vulnerable immune system) However, in most live performances, she shows near-perfect pitch. Her voice is as sweet as an angel descended from heaven.

Her voice is instrument itself! No one can sing this song like SoHyang!!
The original is a simple folk song, very plodding & this is very definately Sohyang’s arrangement, I mean who else would even think that it could be sung like this
