It's what happens when you don't jump on and prosecute insurrectionists quickly insyead of waiting almost four years. What these folks love is criminal impunity. Once Barr saw that there was no penalty for what Trump did of course he's now singing a different tune. An attempted coup happened and no one is being punished for it. The unanswered question will always be whether or not Merrick Garland was sympathetic to what happened as it relates to his do nothing response.

He obviously doesn't believe what he's saying.

That Barr doesn't even know what "Hobson's choice" even means doesn't surprise me in the least. Nor does it surprise me that someone so basically ignorant could end up as Attorney General for Trump. Just because he once chose to spit rather than swallow (quite possibly because he hoped it would get him a better book deal) doesn't make him any kind of patriot.

I watched the interview with Kaitlan and Barr was shocking. I just kept shaking my head in total disbelief.
