Now you know why the Tool army is always in the reaction videos! Watching and listening to these guys perform is such a captivating experience, and seeing other people reacting to these songs keeps them evergreen (not like they ever get old anyway). I swear Tool is like a religious experience sometimes and we can all rejoice in others finding the faith ❤‍🔥❤‍🔥Keep going Sevismo, spiral out! Thanks for sharing this video with us.

The best part about Danny is that he can melt your face off at anytime but he doesn’t over do it in a showy way. He gets in where he fits in and chooses the perfect moments to floor you. The whole band is like that. The guitarist could be all shreddy and overwhelm the music if he wanted also. But they compose this shit like the classical greats of old. Straight up art. And I know this video is showcasing the drummer but if you ever check out the studio version you should not sleep on the lyrics. All these guys are masters of their craft.✌️

Each listen gets better, you pick up more of the musicality and nuance, the amazement doesn’t decay, and you understand them the songs more. This album get a lot of “hate,” which is understood because it’s so different from their other work, but i got started on this album and it shocked me. Every song on Fear Inoculum is an absolute masterpiece. Being the album that got me into TOOL, F.I. is easily my favorite album. Intricate and intelligent song writing. Another band I really enjoy is Parkway Drive. They are more metal core, but they bring good messages and vibes. 19:07 is exactly our thoughts. When I first saw this video I was in complete disbelief. I had heard the song many times before (without watching the drum cam) and when I saw the live vid I actually couldn't believe my eyes. I had heard the drums on the track before but it never occurred to me that danny could play it all live without missing a beat. I love watching reaction videos to this video because it really blew me away. the complexity of the song, how relaxed danny looks (not to mention his age), how good the song sounds, how damn identical it is to the studio version, its all such a treat. so glad you reacted to this

FLOW STATE OF MIND! The only other drummer that needs the recognition in terms of creativity in rock is NEIL PEART of The Canadian band, Rush. Different musical era, but highly influential just the same. Keep the Tool reactions spiraling out my friend, cheers!

You’ll always get different opinions but for many of us, Danny Carey is the GOAT. In the prog metal scene (not that you can put Tool in a box because they are their own genre) he’s also the GOAT. So if Tool is like nothing else in part due to Danny, I guess he’s the GOAT of his own world he created sonically ;)
