No, Xeno doesn't look bad, but like most men he almost certain got VERY few compliments in his formative years like most guys. There's a reason why most guys will remember some random compliment from like six years ago. Women often get a LOT of compliments, even "average looking ones" (what even is that? lol). So yeah. Most guys have a naturally low opinion of their looks even if they aren't that bad looking, like Xeno. He looks like a well kept dude with a viking beard. He takes care of himself, but I am certain because of his earlier experiences, like most guys...he still thinks that he looks "ugly" because of the severe lack of positive feedback that most men get. No, this isn't some "omg women suck!" comment or some incel garbage. It's just the fact that most dudes just don't really get compliments very often, warping their sense of self worth and self perception to be generally more negative than it really is.
