We got some snow again and my 1975 Jaguar XJ6 has been sitting for little over a week. Let's start her up so I can move her. A snowy cold start of a classic Jaguar XJ6.

What kind of motor oil are you using in winter time ?

For very cold countries Jaguar fitted a screwed plug to allow a heater element to be fitted so as not to crack the block because the frozen water will expand. The plug is below the Carbs near the core plugs.

All the blocks have it. Also it can’t freeze with antifreeze
