We had snow this morning as well. My dog acts exactly like yours does in the snow. Running all around chasing snow flakes and just havin a great ol' time. Great poems.

I remember when I was a kid using a magnifying glass or a 9 volt battery a steel wool to start a campfire. You should do a valentines day breakfast video with dave.

I've been to the Fairbanks city dump quite a few times...my husband and sons did exterior work on the soldiers housing on the base, and then dropped off a lot of old but useful building supplies under the covered drop off area. Blessings from Alaska! :)

I'm not A poetry type person, but I am enjoying the poetry a lot more than I expected. Thanks , that's a great way to start a day, walk, fire, coffee and something to snack on. I go for a walk every morning regardless of the weather with my dog and then we come home and I start a fire in the house and one in the garage. Then we sit by the fire and have a coffee and something to eat. Thanks for sharing these videos, I know it's a lot of work. 🐕🐈👍

That first poem was really great. Keep going girl, after all it is not often we find a girl that, gets excited about shopping at the dump LOL.

Hey Brooke no sooner had i finished watching day 7. When day 8 arrived in the post. I'm glad you explained about the dump, at first i thought you had fished your coat out of a skip, or a dumpster as you would say. People have suggested the idea of having a free swap section in a dump for decades. But only now is the idea really catching on. Good luck with day 9, and honeys birthday. Catch you tomorrow, or today, depending on when you post, if you post, and how late i go to bed. Man this is hard work keeping up with you and you challenge, But its well worth it. Gary.

It’s awesome that you did this challenge at this time of year, in the snow and when it is so easy to just stay inside! Hats off to you! You have inspired me so much to get out and “get happy”! I even have a wood supply drying out right now as we speak (that I cut myself!) for a future fire in the fire pit!

The seeds and Lichen in the pocket resonated with me. I always bring a paper bag when I’m in the fore for treasures. I went to wash my coat and found, seed pods, acorns and Turkey Tail Lichen in the pockets.

You are amazing and I love to watch your movies. You always make me smile when watching them. As You, I like to be out when it’s snowing and the wind is blowing, especially when there is a shelter to go into and a fire outside and a cup of hot chocolate with wipped cream, I don’t like coffee. When I was younger I always went out when it was snowing. I love the silence when it’s snowing as much as I like the wind blowing You seems to be very active and happy with your life and that’s contagious, it makes me happy too. Keep on, make me happy

If it’s windy at all here we can not build a fire, it’s just too dry and fire danger too high! With so much snow you would not have that problem😇😇😇. Maiseys so sweet!

Love that Fairbanks dump idea! that's a cool idea! I've learned you have to be careful of bedbugs though; they can be in almost anything, so clothes and bedding etc, are the best things to get from places like that because you can put them straight into the washer and dryer! and then have a perfectly safe and useful thing. :)
