I RV full time year round including winter. I was watching your video and have additional tips for you. 1. Solar Thermal Heating. If you put black curtains up in the cab, (remove the insulation you have instead using CLEAR plastic sheeting in the windows which you can remove when you need to drive) and hang the black curtains (preferably fleece) leaving a gap above and below. Warm air rises, so the warm air will go over the top gap and pull the cold air from below to be heated in the sun. This will warm up the cab. Same with the widows, if you put black felt or fabric on the aluminum insulation in the windows, it will warm up during the day. Freezers are well insulated, but you wouldn't want to live in them. So when you insulate everything including windows, you are essentially creating a freezer and 100% dependent on the heater. 2. Get damp rid or cat litter in socks and put it around the rv. Your breath, the hot tea you are drinking, etc generate moisture which will cause mold and moisture on the windows which will freeze and make it colder. 3. I hate sleeping bags. Your body is a natural furnace. The key is to place a plastic sheet below the bottom covers (above the mattress) and above the top covers (or aluminum insulation with some air flow). This will trap your body heat and works better than nylon. Keep fleece closest to your skin above and below you. Also your head. If you sleep with a tuque and add a fleece blanket over your head (leaving a gap for air) it will warm your head. Less clothing is better under the covers. No socks when sleeping(feet sweat then the sweat freezes between your tows and you may not be aware of it). This is how your body heat is regulated and dissipated. If you have hypothermia or your heat goes out. Your feet and your head are the most important. I use heating pads at my feet (the disposable ones with 18 hour pads my favorite) or a heated pizza stone to heat the foot of my bed and it's good for hours. At the head of the bed is the cover for your head. If you can simulate a fever by keeping your head warmer, that heat will radiate through the rest of your body to compensate for it (as long as you are not wearing sweaters, your body must be slightly cool). Your body temperature will naturally increase. By having the covers around you containing that heat and the plastic trapping the heat (flip the plastic over when wet with condensation) you will be hot and toasty no matter the outside temperature. The only thing is my nose has gotten frostbite (I have to remember to keep my nose covered). FYI, with this setup, (unless I am not well with a cold or flu) I have slept without heat for up to -25c. I have propane heat (Mr. Buddy heater) however not a fan of propane. So I may turn it on periodically and turn it off. Or rather to use other means. For more tips see my youtube videos.

When i went skiing in switserland we could not find our car back. It had snowed massivly overnight. And the snowplow passed by and plowed the snow infront of all the carrs there. When we started digging we found our car back and saw more then 2feet of snow on my cars roof. Omg lol
