I am in my 12th year of retirement with no wife, no kids and I do anything I want, for as long as I want any time day or night. Favorites are gourmet cooking, camping, kayaking and woodworking. Life is good but I paid my dues. Get out there and have fun!!!!
I’ve been knocked a little for voicing my “living in a van down by the river” retirement plan but dang that dream is still there.
Two big dogs will bark and drive off any wild animals you might see. Plus the dogs will leave manure all over the trail.
this is my only escape from a bad marriage , watching your videos gives me hope of freedom one day. thank you
we in Siberia always use chains. Hello to you my friend from cold Russia and to all your friends, a huge friendly hello 👋
I thought he was going to name his van, Vanessa. 😖😅
Used to own an oil change business and so I can say with confidence that the E350 was a solid choice, they run forever. I'm glad to hear you mention Chad, that's how I came to your channel. Like the way you edit your videos with the dogs and nature shots. Looking forward to seeing more.
I left an outboard motor mount at a boat launch. 1 year later I found it placed up against a tree. Perhaps it was misunderstanding however you should not have taken that piece of camping equipment. It was not trash, it was forgotten and nothing is nicer than outdoor people supporting each other. I can still use my outboard mount :) so thanks to all the great blokes that didn't take it as 'trash'.
The fact that you figured out how to make a living doing this is super impressive. The rest of us envy you, I can assure you. Great job. Keep up the good work.
....now Im hungry.
I didn't choose the van life, the van life chose me. Sounds like an awesome shirt to me!
Hey man ! Greetings from the Missouri Ozarks !!! Your camping strategy is very similar to mine. I recently purchased a 1997, 15 passenger Ford van. I took out the bench seats and made it my camping rig. I build my camping experience around campfire cooking, fly fishing for trout, and just relaxing. At 67 years young, the best activity is the one with the least amount of work. (LOL). I follow You, Coyote Works, and Chad (Living the Van Life). All three of you guys embody my camping philosophy. Keep it up brother and thanks for letting me be a part of your adventures !
Dude, the sound is so crisp. Wood chopping scene is immense in sound!
Nice and relaxing..the snow, the quiet and serenity, the biscuits...and of course, oh those dogs...so sweet.
In the beginning of the vid he's all excited.
Congrats!! I'm from the age group where we glued shag carpeting on the ceilings and walls, and the bumper sticker " don't come a knocking-----" you will get great use from the van!
Yes, I had a van when I was 19 years old, I would camp and fish by the river many times, but showing up at my girlfriend parents house with it, well let's say she never got to ride in it..memories.
You’re vibe is the best, always so sound and calm. Love the channel bud.
I loved that you ate right from the skottel! Welcome to van life! We have a 2014 Chevy Express AWD. We love the solar panels on the roof. I would recommend that addition to you.
Running chains I love it I use to do that on my old 2wd pickup in th early 80s I didn't have money to buy a 4x4 keep up the great adventures
