Snorkeling with Sea Lions Espiritu Santo Island, La Paz, Baja California Sur | RV Baja Mexico

While boondocking at Tecolote Beach we hopped in a boat with other tourists and headed out to explore Espiritu Santo Island. The tour was about five hours all the way around the island. We snorkeled with young sea lions, stopped at a beautiful beach and saw an enormous Frigatebird colony!

Binge watching your videos today. It's chilly in the Arizona desert where we're camped so living vicariously through you. What a cool boat tour. Swimming with the sea lions must've been so amazing!!

Sweet! Looks amazing, we're looking forward to getting into Baja Sur. We head south today from San Felipe to Gonzaga. Hope we cross paths at some point. We're you guys able to find any spots to dump the black tank near Bahia De Los Angeles or have you just avoided using your toilet? Thanks!

Glad it worked out for you. We have a composting toilet from Nature Head and don’t have to worry about the black tank👍🏽 Hope you have a great trip!

Lovely video!! We'll be there in about three weeks. Is the water cold and how long was the boat trip to where you swim with the sea lions? Thanks

Thank you! The way out to the sea lions was the longest boat ride of the trip - about an hour. And the water out there was cold-ish in December. I’d guess if you’re going Jan/Feb it would be more comfortable in a wetsuit. Either way it’s worth getting in the water with the sea lions!

Right there at Tecelote beach, which cut the boat road out there shorter. :)

We don’t have a number, we just walked up to one of the bars on the beach that offer tours. I can’t remember which one exactly but they all offer the same thing:)
