Weird that you drove all the way to Knoll lake when you were camping so close to Woods Canyon Lake.
Sometimes it’s as much about the adventure getting there as it is the destination. We were also on the Rim for multiple weeks, and fished Woods Canyon Lake multiple times. :)
I would never subscribe to a channel made by hypocrites like you. At the start of the video you asked people to share places they lobe in NM, but you are unwilling to do the same about your Mogollon Rim site. Not cool!
We asked for general places to visit in New Mexico, for example Taos. We thought we were sharing a cool place in Arizona called the Mogollon Rim. Never did we ask for specific gps coordinates, forest roads, directions or campsites. Not sure why you’re so angry about us not willing to give exact spot locations to the thousands of people who have watched this video.
Looks great, how much did it cost to rent?. planning on visiting Arizona next September from the UK, been looking at Scottsdale and Lake Havasu
I believe it was $500 for the full day and totally worth it! Scottsdale is also lovely.

To be perfectly honest we don’t have gps coordinates or a dropped pin or anything. It was a while ago now. Somewhere off Forest road 260. Hope that helps. Thanks for asking nicely!

Ah got it. Well we do apologize for irritating you so much. It’s a hard thing to break when you grow up on the west coast. And as far as sucking bc we’re from the very large state of CA - you can blame our parents for raising us there. But it seems everyone wants to live on the west coast of North America now doesn’t it? We’re also willing to bet it’s beautiful outside where you live and one deep breath of that fresh air might help with the irritation.

Your video of Juncalito brings back wonderful memories for me. Sailed the Sea of Cortez and Pacific coast Mexico from 1995 to 2005. We used (the bay next door) Puerto Escondido as our base. I know that walk from 8:30 cove over to Puerto Escondido well. My sailing partner lived out the rest of her life in a beautiful palapa on the beach in Juncalito. She passed in 2019. That bay is full of Delicious chocolate' clams. Yum. I'm 77 now but I want to make one more extended trip down the Baja.

How has the 4runner been with towing? I was wary about the weight of a 1575 towing it with my 4runner
It has done ok. We’ve been on the road for just over 2 years now and no major issues.👍🏽

I live in Havasu, if you're not sure about buying a boat, just go rent one 2-3 times a year to avoid the ownership Hassle. But I'm out every week so it's better for me to own. You can rent any kind of boat here too.

Maaaan, seriouly Baja Sur is one of the most dynamically beautiful places IN THE WORLD. Very few places provide as much variation in just raw beauty. Thank yall for literally going off the beaten path and sharing your experiences with the world. Lots to see in those mountains!!

It’s actually Hwy 1 this far south. The road apparently changes every year it it was a little rough this time. There were plenty of large rigs that made it to the beach no problem👍🏽

June is heavy snow melt season, especially thru that valley, there was many feet of melt off around the time you were there, parts of the towns even flooded in spring 2023. No matter when, the creek/river water is always in the low 50’s. And yeah.. definitely have a can of spray or a gun, or both.

That area of Baja is just beautiful. We have stayed twice about 10 minute south at Danzante Bay. Last October the waters were 82% and air about 86%. But the waters were really calm, never seen waves in Danzante bay.

My wife my four Bigggg dogs and myself visited La baja for 3 weeks (arbnb ). Im retiring on august and By April 2025 we going to canada and hopefully for 2026 we going back to baja for 5 months and driving a possible Motor home( we need to start looking for.) tks for your videos ❤

We are heading on the 10 day Baja cruise and Loreto is one of the stops. Our cruise ship has an excursion to San Javier and I was searching for a video to decide whether it would be worth it. It definetely is worth it. The views are stunning! Thank you for doing videos like that.

The story he told about Esteban wasn't the truth he was captured by religious leaders his rattle was thrown on the ground and smashed and was told to not run while he was investigated , he then tried to escape at night and was caught and k***ed with a ax, the us government accuired the area from Mexico some time after the treaty of hidalgo ,with terms not to disturb the citizens already living in the areas established by them . I am zuni and parts of the story your guide told weren't the truth. Look up the PBS special surviving Columbus it tells the more accurate stories.
