Recently was talking with a friend about your channel, which got me back to watching your LEL videos. After maybe 10 - 15 very entertaining videos I decided that maybe it's time to play the game after 10 years again. Downloaded it, played against a medium AI and trying to get the basics somewhat right. It was freaking stressfull and I kept messing up nearly every chance I got but it was fun

I love... LOVE Low Elo Legends because of everything you said in the first few minutes. It's not about getting better sometimes, not about the min maxing or the tactics and strategies, it's just about playing a game of your favourite video game. It's what gaming is for, fun!

The gameplay is low ELO, but the fun is high ELO. Welcome back, LEL. Since T90 keeps mentioning it: As far as interacting with the stream, I think it's totally fine in most games, including non-playoff tournament casts. But if you're doing the bracket stage in a tourney, I'd prefer to focus on the games! That doesn't mean a slow Dark Age can't have some off-topic chatter, but yeah, just don't let it distract when the action starts.

I played exactly like red when i was a kid. The only thing i missed is the builder vill - i always had one single vill only for building, no one else was allowed to build, if there was nothing to build he was on break :D

man low elo legends is still one of my favorites! reminds me off when I was young :)

low elo legends is always a treat to watch, plus im learning alot

In that elo, it is actually fun to steamroll your enemy, and slowly destroy every piece of building. Opponent forfeiting is kind of blue balling.

Italian here, the way you pronounced Stialoggia was SUPER hilarious 🤣🤣🤣 Honestly that name means nothing in italian, they are just two random words together with no meaning overall (Stay + Lodge). I'll try to contact these two legends to show them this video!

Every time I see players that are lower than me in Low ELO legends, I am inspired to play the ladder again. (I am trying to beat the hard AI without castle drops.)

I think this is the perfect time to say, team games really helped my scouting. probably because of a mix of already having a sense of where the enemy is based on your teammates and how dangerous it can be getting double teamed without warning. At the very least, it helped me break the habit of auto scouting. Still sub 1k tho

For me as the newest of Elos.. i Love the joy of DISCOVERING the quaint maps and beautiful landscapes created, irrelevant of a victory or not. I love the different UNIFORMS, colours, unique civilisations etc ... Why?... They are its real life civilisations! All civs are based on reality and that's amazing to have in a modern game. I love age2

when I was 12 and aoe 2 was new I would play 40 mins no attack and there was a ton of other people that wanted to play like that. we would have the big army fight in the middle and it would decide the game

since it was brought up, i think the dock should be organized like this: First page: eco units and upgrades - fishing ship, transport ship, trade cog; gillnets, shipwright, careening, dry dock Second page: military units and upgrades - galley/war galley/galleon, fire galley/fire ship/fast fire ship, cannon galleon/elite cannon galleon, demolition raft, demo ship, heavy demo ship, dromon; war galley/galleon (upgrade), fast fire ship (upgrade), elite cannon galleon (upgrade), heavy demolition ship (upgrade) rename the war galley upgrade to warships, rename fast fire ship to elite/heavy/imperial fire ship

On the bombard tower subject... I really believe they should include the bombard tower upgrade in the TOWER SECTION. Change the price, add it to the line or whatever but it needs to be in the same line. Respect the low elo 😊

Bombard Tower worked that way with Age of Empires 1's Ballista Towers.

With all other gunpowder researches removed/free for all civs (hand cannon, bombard cannon, cannon galleon) except bombard tower, it would make sense to unlock bombard tower after research keep and chemistry (which also means to give civs with bombard towers making keep option). I would like bombard tower cost twice but do melee damage so you need trebuchets instead of rams to take them down. I remember tower upgrades cost stone which made sense to me, but I know it doesn't now. I also think chemistry is too cheap when it is THE post-imp upgrade for gunpowder.

Started watching T90's spectating vids just today. I'm curious, is he a new player or did he grow up playing the original AoE2?

I have ADD, I watch the casts and know everything. Then I try to play, get overwhelmed, forget basic upgrades, forget maintaining eco, and give up. My favorite civ used to be goths because they are so simple, now it's Malay because going castle to karambits then to trashswords is something easy to focus on.

I do too, and feel the same way. But on the other hand, I love the intense level of focus playing online gives me. It's one of the few times I can do an activity and literally not think about anything else.

I stopped using Mangonels just because I killed more of my own units more than the enemy.

Dock should be split into 2 buildings. It's the only building that makes both eco and military units and has two pages. Dock for naval military, Pier/Marina for naval eco. It wouldn't need two pages then.

Made fun of red for the completionist tech upgrades but that honestly is what won him the game. He basically out-teched his opponent. Blue made a blunder by not placing his castle in a better spot and not pushing early.

So, honest question from a noob. How do you counter someone who has basically an AI army with all upgrade? I've played a couple of games against my friend but he had like all units upgraded and wasn't able to counter him effectively. I was spanish and conquistadores weren't enough to kill off everything. To be clear, Im no good at this game hahaha But I'd focus on massing a death ball of 1 high power unit. Conq's or Cav's then only make the counter to their counter of your death ball. Also If you can run into their economy with a group of cavalry and mess up their incomes then as the game goes on you will also have more resources to re-inforce army with

On 1st day of twitch there was such an awesome small map match between mbl and capoach, but on utube theres only 1 and tbo worst game of the series, this is like a big fck to all utube viewers, plus just uploading this would get such great viewership:-(

I'm such a low ELO player - I love the "LAWNMOWER SCOUTING" method. Use it all the time! 🤣 I am ALSO a completionist.
