Just purchased a new, sealed Snaptain SP7100 last week and I just wanted to purchase another new battery as a spare/backup for it. I went looking on all the normal online places and never did find a battery sold separately. So get this. I went on Snaptain's website & contacted them about purchasing a new battery & they replied back to me that they don't sell the battery separately. So in short- don't waste your money, no matter how cheap you can buy one for, apparently no new replacement batteries are available for it- it becomes a worthless paper weight.

This is a great beginner's drone. You have to turn your cell service off and you shouldn't have any issues with the app. This drone flew well from me with no issues. It was responsive to my commands even in 15 miles hour winds. I definitely would recommend this drone!

Airplane mode was on, I had to delete and redownload the app and it works fine. Thanks for watching and happy holidays

@@garza973 i just got one for Christmas. First flight I click the return to home button and it flew 200+ feet in the air and full speed into a tree and broke. Look into Ruko pro drone high quality

Thanks David, I’m happy with it so far. Now just waiting on my wltoys 124019 to get here soon. I saved my brushless system for it and my contact tires. I was going to to put it all in the 144001 but now changed my mind. Have a great weekend my friend.

How do you see what you record. I press the picture little square on the bottom and it kicks me out of the app.

The drone puts out its own 5.8ghz WiFi signal. For android you will have to google your phone to see if it runs duel band WiFi 2.4ghz & 5.8ghz.

Seems like a real nice flyer Donnie. I like it. Glad you seemed to get the app issues resolved worth a phone reboot. Wish Snaptain wound at least EIS. Would make it so much better. I'm going to see if I can get this one too.

Thanks Ryan, it’s a nice flyer and it would be nice if they upgrade to eis like a lot of these companies are doing now. I’m sure Snaptain will start sending these out to be reviewed soon. They usually start sending them to other reviewers a few weeks after i get mine. So it should be anytime now.

My video only works close with this app. The minute you get around 200m it’s video freezes and the only way to recover bring drone home

Just got this drone from target for around 140$. Only problem is I've been trying to look for a spare battery or two and can't find them.

Your device must have 5ghz Wi-Fi so that the device can read your drones 5ghz Wi-Fi signal that the drone is putting out. Check your phone or iPad to see if it is has duel Wi-Fi 2.4ghz and 5.8ghz. You can ask your provider or google your phone model. I use iPhone and it is compatible. I hope this helps, if not here is SnapTain’s customer service info: support@snaptain.com

They are for sale now on eBay pre owned for 70 dollars that seems a much better price than 300 lol 😂 I would pay that amount for a dji drone but not snaptain so I’ll be ordering this drone soon

The drone puts its own WiFi signal out, that way you connect directly to your mobile device. Your mobile device does not have to be connected to any services either. Thanks for watching

From the drones sd card you have to buy for it. Are use an adapter to upload to my iPhone

3:04 same as DJI both joystick down and out or in ...is an emergency turn off in case your drone is heading towards a window or water or running away etc

This is still in the toy side of drones and definitely not a dji. Sometimes people only have $200. The hs720e or the bugs12eis , is a good alternative. Even a hubsan zino, if someone can’t save the rest of the money for DJI. Im not a sales man, I’m just trying to help others see the quality of the drone. Thanks for watching and happy holidays!

Very low quality 4K, to me it’s more like 1080 P. Thanks for watching and to be honest with you I would pass on this Drone. There’s been a lot of problems with them, I haven’t been back to review it or on my channel for six months due to life-threatening illness. So hopefully when I get well I can review these other Drones I have and get back to this SP 7100 again to let people know it’s not worth it.

I have an iPhone and uploaded the sd card through a sd card reader to my iPhone or iPad. If there’s an error, you may of forgot to stop the recording before you shut the drone off. That will cause an error or corrupt.

I wasn’t too happy with this drone at all the app kept crashing other people have been having problems with it. I need to take another test flight with it. I let SnapTain know since I’m there lead reviewer of the drones on and off camera. This one needs to be sent back to the manufacturer, they need to work the bugs out of this thing. I know I’m happy with Holystone h720e and the mjx bugs 12 eis . There so much better, I was hoping SnapTain would step up as well. But this Covid pandemic has put a damper on so many companies. Pushed a lot of these companies behind, Snaptain was supposed to fly me out to China to work with their engineers and come up with better Drones. Thank God there was a problem setting up my flight. I would of been stuck there for who knows how long. Thanks again for stopping by, have a safe one out there.

That’s what I would do, I know a lot of times you want to just get a drawing to start flying now. But it’s well worth the wait to get a good drone like the DJI drone.

I guess you get what you pay for. 😏

My camera function doesn't work. No rotation, just flops around. Gonna be returning.
