Most fun Sersi game I had was where District X happened. Another guy had Doc Oct me in another lane and I ended up with Iron Lad Copying Arnima Zola and hitting Sersi into each lane leveling up each of my cards.

I’ve been doing the same thing but I still think there should probably be a change made. Cuz rn we’re kinda just back to not playing thanos for thanos… he should be the most powerful piece in his deck not just a side piece you’re hoping gets hammed so you can play MMM and drop a 0-10

@@peterkefalos7430 still feels kinda lame that thanos himself is one of the weakest parts of the thanos deck. Also it’s lame that there’s literally nothing you can do to prevent a spider ham. He’s always in the leftmost spot and they can ham you on 1 and you literally cannot do anything to counter it. Very boring imo

Hot take: Soul stone should prevent all opponent effects from hitting Thanos including Ham, Iceman, scorp, etc.

They need to make deck specific borders. Like you select it at the deck creation level that hits all cards in that deck rather than just individual cards

The collection track rewards are terrible once you get to a certain point definitely needs a buff.

@@reelmagic88 3 costs and most 4 costs are all good targets really. I don't believe you have any hard board wiping or game losing cards in the 4 and 5 costs that could negatively affect you, except for maybe literally Mr.Negative and Attuma.

Just played a sersi game, winning by a lot, then transformed hood, debrii, and white tiger. I got master mold (buffing their devil dino), white queen (stealing Mr. Negative), and then my white tiger turned into destroyer and nuked my whole board

I love Sersi a lot, she’s really fun and works well most the time. My only complaint is hitting a destroy card or MODOK, if that happens it feels so bad

Mailbag: call me crazy but i think they should add more vanilla cards. Something to give patriot to mess around with at lower level play. But then on the higher side of play have HE do his thing and maybe introduce a new playstyle other than giving -1. Do yall think that would help with new player experience or think itll be a nightmare on HE side of things?

Mail bag question: what if cards had additional abilities when played with another card. For example, if venom is played on a lane with Spiderman, they combine, spidy gains 3 power, and destorys an enemy card. Or if vision is played with sarlet witch her ability goes off again, or if woverine and sabertooth destory each other when played in the same lane, only once per game.

I just got Nocturne and I can't believe how good this card is.

I had to sit through a Wong-Mystique-Surfer-Odin on Onslaught's Citadel play the other day because the game didn't fast forward. They didn't play into one lane so I got that, they seemingly got the other with 200+ power, until I played Shangers. He and Jeff go into every deck and make them better, no questions asked

Kitty + hope, + thena + angela + collector + sasquatch + elsa + slik/kraven. Kitty blocking goblins and annhilus, shutting down nevula. Kitty is the cats meow. Her versatility and ability to dodge killmonger puts her in a league of her own as a one drop. I think her only rival is nico.

4:36 having rocks turn into havoc won me multiple games. As someone who stays in alot Sersi gives me possible win conditions on so many 50/50’s.

Mailbag: Do You feel like Second Dinner is starting to encounter a Power Creep problem? Lately cards were either very good or rather skippable. Also number of adjustments to new cards is rising. Can all this lead to Series 6 being introduced with 9000 tokens price? It would be godlike cards, meta defining, archetype creating and very expensive. Second Dinner would say: „We know it’s broken good, but it’s Series 6”

Love the demo deck idea

I genuinely think Sersi is a better than average card, definitely not a 5 star but really shines in the right on-reveal decks. It really seems like Cozy and Alex just really haven’t been able to find a great fit for Sersi in their decks. I don’t have a ton of hours to grind but I don’t think i’ve climbed faster from 50 to the 90’s ranks faster than any season since early thanos decks.

Sersi is good as a Annhilius 2 if you run that package.

Mailbag: I’ve been meaning to ask this for a couple weeks. I’m not one to complain about the currency, I think SD does a good job with it, however I don’t think the album rewards are calculated correctly. The four recent albums (boss babies-move your hipps) 2nd reward is 1000 credits for an all rare album and the same 1000 credits for a super rare album. The other two have 2000 tokens for a mostly rare album and 1000 for a super rare and one ultimate album. Sorry for the long winded statement/question.

You can sort of kill 2 birds with 1 stone by adding some kind of demo token to the ladder caches. Have smth like 10 tokens in the caches instead of gold tickets and each token allows you to use a card you don't own 1 time. That way players get to try out cards and even decks they don't usually get to play (as they could use tokens for multiple unowned cards in the same deck) while also making normal caches a little more exciting and valuable.

I think all new release cards should be free for the first 24hours upon release. That way people can have fun and get a feel for whether not to spend tokens or spotlights.

Sersi , Mockingbird and the ham are staples in my builds

I don't like the new SOUL stone, it protects Thanos but does not reduce others. It does not protect Thanos from being hurled by Gambit though. Stones need a few more tweeks.

Hot Take: White Widow needs to be a 3 cost. In fact, I'd rather Black Widow be a 2 cost and White Widow be the 3 cost.

Mailbag: Am I the only one getting increasingly frustrated by the new albums? Always drop with brand new variants which no one has, shop takeovers, and always costing 1200g/super rare. I think they’ve completely missed the mark on them…do you think it’ll ever get fixed? What would be your ideal album adjustments?

Mailbag : What do you think about having a speedrun game mode? You have half of the time to play your turn, so that you don't have to wait after people that take all the time of every round and you're obligated to think quick!

Mailbag: During your segment on June 17th, you went through the Best Cards in Snap. Do you realize that, besides Shang Chi and the 6 cost cards (Magneto and Ultron), all the cards are series 4 and 5 (mostly 5). Do you feel this is power creep or do you think this is part of their sales strategy to put out cards that are overly strong to get people to spend, then balance (nerf) the cards? Thoughts?

Mailbag: Is there a deck that you have trouble playing, no matter how much you try? And do you keep trying to get good at that deck? Ive always had that with the Loki deck, but I got infinite yesterday with it for the first time. Still don't think im great at it but I'm way better at playing Loki.

Mailbag: Hey guys, I have an idea for a Kang Rework inspired by your guys recent placement of him as F tier 5 cost. I thought he could be similar to Magik but replace the location with a location that ends the game on turn 5. This location could either be new Kang specific or a reworked TVA. This would serve as additional counter to Hela and Ramp decks with cards like Red Hulk but not too overpowered all while keeping with his theme of time manipulation. What are your guys thoughts on this?

Don't disrespect THE landshark. TWICE today I played Shawna and the one of the cards was ebony maw and I was able to play JEFF. The second time I played sandman and guess what? I played 1 card PLUS my boy JEFF.

Sersi is the staple back up plan for Annihilus from now on. But its the only deck for her, all other brew are copium

@alex When you guys do a ranking you should each get a Snap. When someone Snaps on a card they can place it wherever they want.. So, if (for example) Cozy wants Surfer in B and you just Snap and him in SS (Silver Surfer) where he belongs! 😁 Seriously, though, you should still have a Snap as a trump card.

Spotlights was the only thing keeping me from trying for Sersi.

My problem with collectable borders is you buy it and it only applies to that 1 card. I'm not spending 900 gold on a border for just one card, If you bought a border and it unlocked for all your cards then i might consider buying it, but even then I'd rather spent my gold on a random card than a decorative border.

Mailbag: it is so easier to play creative decks during the week vs the weekend. Should casual players just skip weekend play if they want to do well...

Mailbag: When we're all done glorifying the movie of the year with Deadpool, do you see them ever tweaking destroy? To me it's as difficult to play as a Hela deck. I've always wondered why they let Deadpool double his damage instead of just coming back with +3/4. It's not like he grows back two arms when he loses one!

I respectfully disagree about Sersi being a good candidate for a series 4 release. I mean, of course I'd rather Second Dinner go back to doing some Series 4 releases. But if we take as given that most cards will release at Series 5, the question is which cards are the best candidates for Series 4 release. My answer is, cards that are simple (e.g., Cull Obsidian) and/or serve an important purpose as a tech card to correct the metagame (e.g., Mobius M Mobius). Fun should be a factor, too, and Sersi is fun. Still, weird cards like Sersi make sense as Series 5 releases. Power level shouldn't really be a factor one way or the other.

Shadow King at 2 is ridicilious, and should be mentioned. Honestly Hope Summers could easily be a 3/2. The effect is so powerful. When you have a card, that is the best at its cost, by a mile, a nerf is probably not a bad idea

Imma be honest, I've never been so unmotivated to play Snap. I told myself the next/Deadpool season would be my last, but I'm not sure if I'll even make it through this one. I'm just not having fun anymore.

Honestly it took me three keys for sersi and i don't regret it but i kinda fo eith how shit her catche was.

Sersi in patriot surfer is awesome. You can change cards like forge and miter sinister into 3 cost cards if you don’t draw patriot. Then you always have the brood/absman if you do get patriot. Or you gamba sersi into brood on 5 if you don’t get anything. I’ve also been running wong and white tiger. Then sersi turns wong into a 5 cost, then a 6 cost. And tiger becomes a 6 cost too.

I think a good change for sersi would be if they treated it like nico. Every turn it previews 1-6 (so 6 cards) what u could potentially get that turn. And every turn your 6 cards change. That way you at least you know what you are getting yourself into.

The fancy paid-borders would be an awesome addition to the collection track. Replace every gold conquest ticket with one.
