Not sure if you're aware of this, but it's too good a story not to share. In the warp, there's an army of Orks that are constantly fighting outside of the Brass Citadel and die fightring daemons, but Khrone brings them back to life every morning. Look up "Tuska Daemon-killa"

Orcs like to fight everyone, so long as they’re really strong, but they do like to fight Khorne in particular. Once upon a time in 40k, a group of orks got taken to a Khorne daemon world to fight to the death as gladiator slaves. Some shenanigans happen, the world fell apart into civil war (for which Khorne got his popcorn ready), and the orks got a chance to leave… which they refused because there was a boat load of waaaaghing to do still.

Then on the other hand in 4'th edition there where a story in FB where an orc army was whining to their warboss about facing off against a chaos army (likely Nurgle) but they did not like that they where unnatural and they thought they smelled bad..

If your talking about Tuska, he and his boys B lined toward the eye of terror and rekt shits until they invaded a khorne world. They ended being all killed, althoug Tuska crushed the nuts of the chaos lords. But ofcourse Khorne loved that shit so much he resurected the orks so they can start everything again and they have been doing this over and over ever since. One of the rare case where 40K got a happy ending.

The fact some of those orc boy biguns managed to get such good value despite being constantly targeted with highly effective missiles and usually being prevented from getting to high value targets really just goes to show how strong they are.

6:54 I think that's the first time I've seen a screaming skull catapult survive a charge from anything, they're so squishy they die to a stiff breeze most of the time.

Ork Boss Tuska, the "Daemon-Killa" gives Khorne a good krumpin' all da time. Tuska made his mark in the Eye of Terror, by defeating the Daemon hordes on several Daemon Worlds, and seemed unstoppable until his Waaagh! crash-landed on a flesh planet. The planet belonged to a mighty Daemon Prince of Khorne known as the Blood Prince, who soon led his Daemonic hordes against the invading Orks. In the battle that followed, Tuska suffered many deep wounds and his Boyz took heavy losses. Just as the Blood Prince was about to finish Tuska, his Weirdboyz managed to distract the Daemon using their psychic powers, giving Tuska enough time to impale the creature between its legs with his Power Klaw before being killed himself. The Warboss’ vast horde was later eventually slain to an Ork by the wrathful Daemon Prince and his minions. However, the story did not end there for Tuska. Khorne had such joy in watching the murderous spectacle, that he ensured that Tuska's Waaagh! rose once more the very next dawn. Now, the Orks repeat the fight over and over again, for the Blood God was so impressed by their limitless battlelust that he took the Orks into his own domain. In the shadow of the Brass Citadel, his elite Bloodletter generals battle against Daemon-Killa’s undying horde on a daily basis. This suits the Warboss just fine: he has finally found a good fight that never ends [Source: wh40k.lexicanum] (I ain't typing all that out)

Speaking of Tomb Kings ammo woes, maybe the Necrotect could get an ammo refill ability (à la the VCoast Gunnery Wight)? Currently it has no payable/selectable abilities in multiplayer, so that could be an optional pick. Or maybe even give to Khalida if she's to keep her weird range focus.

Orc Boar Boyz do need an armour nerf in game, but they did used to have a 3+ armour save on their boars, so i personally think a nerf to 75/70 would be a better start at balancing them out to be more inline with TT.

The problem with orks is most of their units feel slightly undercosted. I know the payoff is the leadership but it doesn’t seem balanced at the moment. There’s no way a boarboy should solo stalkers, nehekara wariors and horsemen at their price point. I don’t even think demis with halberds could do that

Currently it just feels like taking infantry big uns is just a straight up worse deal when you could get a more armoured mobile unit for only 100gp more. I think they should swap the armor values for the boar boy and regular big uns. And possibly nerf the speed of the boar cavalry to 62 (same as juggernaut mounted units have), so that they'd at least have hard time picking their fights even if they trade well into most large targets.

Back when I had played the tabletop version the Orc Boar Boys an armor value that matched the heavy knights, since the boars had a +2 armor value

I think you are correct Turin, Sepulchral Stalkers are absolutely the coolest looking unit on the Tomb King's roster! Which is saying something since they have a very cool looking roster haha.

There's something funny about using the Deserters of Khatep color scheme then using Khatep as your Lord

you could just have the magic missile spell and that and you got a pretty solid setup

I think 70 armor would be good for Boar Boyz. Otherwise increase the cost a little. They should still have solid armor.

Come on Turin, please go through post game battle stats for at least key units.

Greenskins have been my favorite faction since Warhammer I, and I love where they are at in the meta, and how they play in Dom is so ORKY. BUUUUUT boar boy big 'uns need their armour nerfed, they do not need to be one of the best cav factions in the game.

Am i the only one that noticed how weird the unit flags look in battle/campaign? I know it's a graphic setting but i don't know which one is it.

Like all true punks Orcs are equal oppetunity brawlers. Any scrap's a good 'um.

i think the weird way the greenskins have of staying alive is bc they have a lot of hp per gold spent compared to other factions.

Greenskins need cost increases or nerfs across the board. Or if this is the way they are intended to play and feel then other factions need cost decreases or stat buffs. Or maybe it’s just the boar boyz that are kinda problematic and they need a hefty cost increase or stat rework.

It's primarily boar boyz and squig herds that are problematic. I think Turin's suggestion of armor reduction for the former paired with cost increase for the latter would go a long way to making them more balanced without nuking their winrate. Also, certain other factions (Khorne, Skaven, VCoast, etc) definitely need to be brought up in some way.

There is an enemy lord that is charging ahead with 3000~hp, low armour, with speed in the low thirties, and of a faction with terrible leadership. Why on why isn't that insipid gobbo not sniped out at any point? He was never targetted and had mid-hp from just topical damage by the 15 min point! A lot of the 'new' meta of GS seems to revolve around weak, rubbish lords and I don't get why they are almost entirely left alone, like there is some bizzare gentleman's agreement! I would be squashing those gobbos (caster as well) like there's no tomorrow!

You can try to. Spoiler: it's not that easy as you think. If you just try to hunt it with infantry, GS can very easily screen that. If you go for it with a unit of cav it probably will not do near enough before it get's caught before it get's screened by a unit of infantry or boar boys. If you try to hit it with a duelist character, probably the most dangerous, I can hide in a pile of inf or try to screen you with a cheap unit of squigheards. The reason why the lord started to take a lot of damage was because basically all the infantry was dead at that point.

You didnt give us any of the value....Sadge. But great fight.
