I really enjoyed the way the intro to this video began. He actually gave details about the Snake Island and explained the adventure he was heading into. I loved how the background music fit perfectly with this introduction to this amazing adventure. He gave us amazing facts about this island how it was ranked #6 in Travel magazine 2016. It is pretty wild to think he is going to one side of the island that has such amazing things awaiting him and yet the other side has less than 2,000 people living and working there. Awesome intro to his adventure.

But as far as doing it for fun or educational purposes I don't think I could. Although I do admire all of you that do these survival shows. The more we eliminate nature, the more entitled people become. They dont see or respect nature and realize it is our existance. I live in the woods but have to work in big cities. I get very depressed seeing arrogant well dressed people with exspensive cars, clothing, and jewelry. They think very highly of themselves. Then i go home and witness the beuty and power of nature and i am so greatful for the simplest things in life. Fresh eggs, a warm bed and the opportunity to be part of somthing so beutiful, so powerful. The problems i see people complaining about and how everyone is offended because they are so special makes me wish they had an opprotunity to experience what you are doing and gain a new respect for nature, for themselves, and for others. We are all on a big spinning marble where chaos could occur with the most minute change to our system. Love, peace and taco grease.

That water and beach was beautiful! The shots of the sea life was breathtaking! I literally felt like I boarded the plane with you and got to visit Snake Island! I think you did an amazing video! I honestly felt bad for you that you didn't get much sleep due to all the bug bites! Thank you so much for the tour on Snake Island :)

Within this video the sandy beaches are so beautiful there is a great angle that was captured. However to me it seems like this is a video that almost reminds me of the show Lost. He does show a lot of great ideas on how to survive in nature with not being able to have all the ability you do at your home. The quality of the video was absolutely amazing. The beginning of the video was cool almost something like Steve Irving would do. Breathtaking views I would have liked to see a lot more of the island. Think it could have been just a little more exciting with the views that was shown

The name "Snake Island" comes from Spain. They only have a population of under 2,000 people. All year round it is a high of 80 and a low of 70. Around the island they have tropical fish. The island has up too 7 sandy beaches that these fish surround. Sometimes you can see sing rays and other small sea creatures.

This was a pretty amazing video. I really liked how it introduced us all to what all the island and surrounding ocean had to offer. The scenery is just beautiful, and I felt as if I was taking a vacation. I also liked that it did touch base with some basic reasoning on why he chose to do things the way he did in a survival situation, and even touched base on some of the negative things that happened. All too often we see these shows where it's nothing but small obstacles with really no negative outcomes, making it seem as though the survivalist always makes the best decisions. I was a little uneasy watching the video where we are face to face with Chad. I felt like it was a little too personal and too much time focused on just one thing/face. The plane ride to the island also just wasn't visually or audibly appealing. The camera shook aggressively (understandable though), and the noise was off putting. I would still like to see more! I really do enjoy watching survivalist videos/shows.

This is a great little series about Culebra island. Very informative and captured its natural beauty. It is a harsh and unforgiving terrain, nonetheless. As a Puerto Rican, loved how you included actual music from P. R. So sad what happened after Hurricane María... Still hasn't recovered.

Wow is all I have to say. The footage is amazing and makes me want to step through the screen and be there. The beaches, little shops, look so fun! The views of the plane was great until the camera started getting shaky- Messed with my eyes and was a little distracting. But overall I loved this video and can't wait to see the next one.

This was a nice video to watch. It was very descriptive, I loved the scenery videos taken and it really made me want to visit. I did feel that he was a bit overly dramatic and wished he would slow his speech down a little so I can take in all the information he is telling about the island. He could have slowed down on his island facts and left out the long scene of putting up the tent.

  • @jamiesmith9590

I wasn't overly excited about the video. I felt the Caribbean like music they used was much too close to what they play on Survivor. However, I did love seeing the crystal-clear waters. The aerial views when he flies into the island, were amazing. It's a shame that this video wasn't more entertaining than that. Yes, you get all the ins & outs of the island, but in a very mundane like narrative.

This is fitting: "There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society where none intrudes, By the deep Sea, and music in its roar: I love not Man the less, but Nature more, From these our interviews, in which I steal From all I may be, or have been before, To mingle with the Universe, and feel What I can ne'er express, yet cannot all conceal. Roll on, thou deep and dark blue Ocean--roll! Ten thousand fleets sweep over thee in vain; Man marks the earth with ruin--his control Stops with the shore;--upon the watery plain The wrecks are all thy deed, nor doth remain A shadow of man's ravage, save his own, When for a moment, like a drop of rain, He sinks into thy depths with bubbling groan, Without a grave, unknelled, uncoffined, and unknown. His steps are not upon thy paths,--thy fields Are not a spoil for him,--thou dost arise And shake him from thee; the vile strength he wields For earth's destruction thou dost all despise, Spurning him from thy bosom to the skies, And send'st him, shivering in thy playful spray And howling, to his gods, where haply lies His petty hope in some near port or bay, And dashest him again to earth: -there let him lay."
