Snake is consistent and what I like so much about him is that he explains in detail his reasoning. I find Tony treats him with much more respect than he used to and that makes the show more pleasant to listen to.

Boisvert has improved his diplomacy skills I see. Last year he would've kept hammering the Connelly drum until it drove Marinaro crazy. :D

@@FrancoisBert Iginla is the safest pick and Montreal likely does not want to gamble a 5th pick, but I still believe that Demidov, Lindstrom and even Sennecke have higher ceilings if things work out well for them. So far in their rebuild, Hughes has failed to find/draft an elite player capable of being top15 in the league !!!

Weird to brush past the benson/catton comparison without mentioning benson was one of only a few guys from last year's draft to make the nhl.

My fifth pick was Lindstrom and now it’s Iginla! I saw him play at the U18 championships and he just amazed me. He is a complete player and he’s got a high hockey IQ so the team that will pick him is going to be very wise…He will be one of the best three prospects of this draft… Mimi said it and she is almost always right, just like Tony!🍝

I wouldn't pick Connelly at #5 , too much of a risk. But I would package the other first plus a second or a defensemen to move up in to #15.

There is a risk with every prospects at the draft...some will pan out very good but some will be surprisingly very deceiving. I am sure Montreal has done their homework regarding whoever they will pick !!!

Snake wise.

Lidstrom if still available at #5 , if not go get Iginla, then Trade Up #26 and Harris/Struble + 2nd next year for a pick between 10 and 15 to get Sennecke if available, if not go with Catton

Snake would sacrifice Hutson for the 10th pick. I wouldn’t cause I don’t know which level of his ceiling Hutson can hit. So when he said yea to that, I’d call him a lame 🐍

No way the Habs pick mama's boy Connelly, even if he's available at 26! His stupid penalty in the final game of the U18 was such a selfish move.

Been to Vegas once that city is sooooooooo overrated stayed at the Mirage nice Hotel but everything costs $$$$$$ even a bottle of water. I will never go again.

Mailloux went through a bad situation if Mailloux can fix it so can Connelly no? all depends of his open mind i guess.

you don't trade the 5 overall unless you have somebody like brady tkachuk in return so many forward this year have the potentiel to become 50 point scorer demidov eiserman shennecke lindstrom eck , if hughes trade for the 9 ,10 pick , you could get 2 of them then you open the window for the cup in 2 ,3 years !

According to whats been reported Connolly has proven time and time again he doesnt play well with others... potential cancer player...if you want to give him a chance give him a chance at 26 not at 5, at least you can compare it to mailloux we took at 31... but not at 5, or why not mailloux and 26 move up and snatch him

Have you looked at his track record at rating prospects? He's been wrong, but he has beaten the pros several times. He has an interesting take and is consistent. He gets invited because he has a different take from experts and can back it up. Love that he's an outsider and entertaining.
