Whist looking through the boxes of vintage tools at my favourite stall at the car boot sale (Flea market) I found this really top quality Snail Brand number 4, and what a beauty it is!!
I believe it may have been part of a set and it is shame I couldn't get the rest of them, I will look out for them next time I am there.
It was the fantastic Snail Brand stamp that caught my eye, it looks like an art deco snail. I believe the spanner is from around 1919.
