Thanks for the frank discussions on these subjects, they are very helpful to the new user. I have not had cannabis for 39 years, I was twenty when my wife at that time made me pick between her or pot, it was an easy choice, but now that we are getting older we both see some benefit from these new strains. I have a back injury that has had me on opioids since 2005, and my wife and I have arthritis, we both don't smoke so vaping and lighting up is out for us. Are there products that can be consumed in gel capsules? We had come across a recipe for a mixture of 7 grams of cannabis ( heated to 200 c ) , coconut oil, turmeric, cinnamon & ginger in a gel cap for pain and arthritis. My question is there a particular strain that can be consumed in this manner without getting you high and still help with pain and swelling? Many thanks for all of the information. Ian & Angela

You should research about CBD if you haven’t already. It’s a component of cannabis that has many of the pain relieving benefits without really having the intoxicated effect, they are commonly sold in gummies and essential oils

PLEASE do not equate smoking and vaping. They are worlds apart. I’m a veteran of over 50 years of cannabis use and vaping quality bud in a quality dry-herb vaporizer is amazingly clean in your lungs. Check out the Arizer or Storz & Bickell (spelling?) herbal vaporizers and get off those opioids. Hard to imagine someone choosing opioids over vaping bud!

If I may add, plant exclusive nutrition is the only way so far in medical clinical data to reverse heart disease, the number one cause of death in our country. Using the information of plants, people have switched to eating them and gotten a lot of relief. Just adding this info for more.options to consider, but I hope what you choose works! @Bob Pruitt - I have googled “adverse effects of vaping THC,” and shared 3 articles that popped up. The consensus is that vaping THC Oils has caused lung damage in some ppl (they could be outliers, none of the studies had the gold standard randomization, large sample sizes, control/treatment groups, etc.). It is safe to say that the jury is still out and the science just isn’t there yet on long term adverse effects, and what is it specifically that is causing the adverse effects. So, vape cannabis at your own risk. Lots of folks out there doing it as well as smoking it without significant harm, but it is NOT risk free.

Most of that came from black market cartridges that you get off the street. Getting sketchy products that are unregulated have that risk.

@@hrazzak01 Think of it this way. That oil does not go away...it coats your lungs with oil....not good. Vape flower...not good for you but oil on your lungs is going to kill you fast.

They didn't tell us a damn thing about which one is better . I have tried a volcano type vaporizer and it doesn't work as good as burning a joint

Get a terp hammer and vape flower. Then use the abv for edibles or whatever. Vaping is far better and it’s not even close.

At 41 my body no longer want to smoke bud blunts im now trying thc vape but i dont like it much squeezing cigarettes between session. Smoking is coming to an end for me soon.

False problem. The real issue is Prohibition vs Respect. Or more specifically, the goal should be to find a consensual manner of facilitating a transition for those who are genuinely seduced by alternatives as vaporism - which by the way cut my cost down 3-fold and hence can now be considered a passive political stand, protesting against all evils of "légaleezation", starting with greedy motivations causing systematical *VILIFICATION* of a noble plant.

Responding to @Egzoset - Not necessarily a false problem if your concern is health. There are healthy ways to use cannabis and healthier ways as well as unhealthy ways. Vaping delivers more THC than smoking (bongs, joints, pipes, etc., that use combustion) by the way (look up UCLAs symposium on cannabis). Vaping avoids the particulate (solids) that go into the lungs with combustion (lighting up) and combustion causes the release of carcinogens. Vaping at lower activation temps avoids the carcinogen release from combustion. Both vaping and combustion (smoking) can cause chronic inflammation of lung tissues that can lead to bronchitis and/or pneumonia and other lungs issues over time.

Vaporizing cannabis flower is not bad for you, quit spreading propaganda. With vaping flower you get full spectrum CBD, terpenes etc. If anything smoking is bad for you because you’re inhaling burning plant matter, which is carcinogenic and inflammatory.

Why do you waste your time with a video without words. The title looked interesting. But there’s a lot of us who can barely see and can’t read the words so you’re wasting a lot of time and money making a video without words. Can’t you find some commentator who would be able to at least read it as the words go across the screen, so that people who can’t see well could understand the video.
