We agree, and a lot of our patients feel exactly the same way.

I’m a 45 year smoker,started vaping around 2019. Ive found that I rarely crave smoking at all anymore. Recently I started on gummies,and now am craving vaping less. Gummy’s and vaping is a big help with my pain,along with getting me further away from feeling the need to smoke. It’s a win-win.

Back in the early 70's Neil Young did a concert at the University of Colorado's Mackie Auditorium. Folks who didn't have tickets started rioting outside trying to break into the building. It made for a really f**ked up scene inside the building with windows breaking and doors being attacked. Neil was really bummed out that his show was trashed like that. Anyway, the nexr day Neil rented the barn on a ranch north of Boulder and did a free concert. Folks who knew folks who were in on the deal got an exclusive invite to the concert. A few songs into the show some of Neil's roadies had some kind of high tech vaporizing machine and they put a pound of some kind of California homegrown into it and the weed was vaporized. It was like THC wacky gas. I had never been so high on weed like that. It was really psychedelic.

I’ve been watching your guys video ever since I got my medical card and honestly thank you for being able to explain more step by step and answering basically all the questions I had. It’s good to know the healthier way.🙂

I prefer the flower, helps me fast when my anxiety kicks in, but as a Mother it is hard to hide the “smell” my kids are not old enough to get it. Seeing the dry herb vaporizer makes me excited. I need to try that.

Medical marijuana saved my life. I had debilitating sciatic pain caused from spondylolisthesis that I eventually had surgery on this year. But I was prescribed opioids until my massage therapist recommended getting my card. I took gummy a few hours before my pain usually got bad and I used my cartridge vape for breakthrough pain. I rarely needed those opioids, thank goddess! It not only helped my physical pain but it improved my mental health dealing with chronic pain. It helped me sleep and even improved intimacy with my partner. I have been really curious about the flower vape because I enjoy the ritual of preparing my medicine. I like what Blake said as well about checking in with yourself in the process. I’ve been researching about purchasing one of these and I really think this video helped solidify that I want one. Thank you for making these videos. Even if you’re a first timer or you think you know all there is to know, these videos are easy to watch and super informative.

I started out smoking weed through pipes and bongs. I started using a G-Pen vaporizer about 6 months ago, and I'm very happy with the change. It's so much easier on my throat and lungs; it tastes so much better; it smells so much better; it's so much more discreet; and best of all, it seems to be very much more economical. I get a lot more effect from a smaller amount of flower when I'm not burning up a large portion of the active ingredients in the high heat of a flame. I've been hoping to find a better device for vaping than the cheapie G-Pen (easier draw would be greatly appreciated), and this contest seems to be a great opportunity to have a chance at that.

Didn’t know about the residual fact at the end of the video. I wonder about investing in one now. Only tried the concentrate cartridges so far. Still not sure which is more beneficial and worried about spending up front then not liking it as much as other forms. The only answer I get so far is it depends on the person. 😅 Wholesome and these videos have been helpful so keep going!

I tend to enjoy concentrates more for the reasons described in the video, easier dosing.

Definitely been curious as to using a vaporizer but haven't jumped on the chance yet, maybe winning one would change that 😛 but for real I'm very interested.

I love the information and understanding the benefits. Knowledge is power. Like other areas of the medical field the more you know the easier it is to help yourself.

Do you guys have any knowledge on ball vapes? (Example, the flower pot device from cannabis hardware). They seem to be the most effective dry herb vaporizer. It utilizes convection and conduction heating with a electronic controller.

I love the vaporizer for the oils and wish I could use the flower but I am trying to save up for a flower vaporizer to cut my dispensary costs. But to stay positive at least my pain and anxiety is under control with out opioids and other addictive pills.

Is it normal to get veg little vapour with medical cannabis?

As someone with no tolerance, is a vaporizer too much to start with?

Does the dry vaporizer get clogged like a normal pipe would? Thinking of maintaining the vaporizer. The vaporizer are expensive. It's not like we can bust out 50-300 everytime it brakes.

Great question. Yes it gets gummed up with oils and plant material. You have to use alcohol or citrus terpene fluid for cleaning. Wiping out the bowl and putting a alcohol soaked pipe cleaner through the device works great. The firefly is really easy to clean with an alcohol wipe, the pax is a little harder to clean, but both have lasted years for us with good cleaning. I think the battery will fail first

When i vape my flower i feel nothing at all and no smoke is coming out but when i smoke it i do get high. What could i be doing wrong?

I need one of those vaporizer. I heard there pretty good to have. You get all the help from THC with the vaporizer

What I want to know is why dry herb vaporizers are so d*** EXPENSIVE. It seems to me like if all you need is a little tiny chamber that gets to a controlled temperature, that shouldn't be that difficult to manufacture. Are companies just charging a lot because they can? Or is there something I'm not understanding about how they work that makes them more expensive? Thanks again for your educational videos. Don't forget the money you'll be saving on your stash....dry herb can be basically used twice. I'll use mine until there's no taste or smoke then look to capsule it.

Since different parts of the flower have different concentrations of cannabinoids, I'm curious if you get less consistent dosage.

OK so this is a good question. If you’re using a grinder to grind the entire bud then I would say you’re getting pretty consistent cannabinoid and terpene profile session to session. If you are breaking up the bud by hand, with your fingers and putting it into the vaporizer then there’s a chance of getting different cannabinoid breakdowns per session. The question for me is really how long do the other cannabinoids last in the system. If they last a long time then getting a different breakdown session to session might not be as big of a deal, but if they leave the body quickly then having the right breakdown is more important. To be honest I don’t think it matters much for most conditions and therefore most people. But, for somebody with migraines or seizures it would be more important to keep the dosing and breakdown ratios very consistent. There’s some research out of Israel regarding this where a seizure patient using the same strain was not getting relief and they found out the cannabinoid breakdown was slightly different. Once they went back to the original breakdown the seizures went away again.

Great question and one that we should do an entire video about. I like to compare cannabis to tomatoes. Most Vape carts are just like processed tomato paste or even ketchup. You can make a recipe and put it together and it’s a great product and very useful. I love ketchup. I use tomato paste to cook. But I also like homegrown heirloom tomatoes fresh off the vine. There’s some thing about making a tomato sandwich with a little salt and pepper, mayonnaise and maybe a little bacon that just hits the spot. There’s something about vaporizing raw cannabis flower The provides an entourage affect or an experience that may be a little more full then you can get with a cartridge.

it’s much healthier then smoking using a flame which is combustion as it is lower temperatures so it doesn’t burn as much plant, also stretches it alot for you. you can also use oils too though.

I’m listening to this. I’m gonna come in before it’s over. I light up a joint all the time and I don’t Oh, he’s smoking all the way down. Take a few hits that’s fine but the rest back in the little container.

Ppl totally smoke half or ever less of whatever combustion method theyre using. I actually find i dont stop till the vape pack is done. To each their own

Actually I stopped smoking 12 years ago. Dad responsibilities etc. Chronic pain year’s last 4 worst. Refused to smoke, drink alcohol and take the high dose pharmaceutical products prescribed. I gave in yesterday, was gifted awesome flower. Rolled a joint took 3 tokes and slept for 6 hours pain free. I hate inhaling smoke, don’t like sucking on a bong or joints. This is important to me. A last resort. In a month I can apply for CBD oil. Vaporiser looks good but can’t get here. It was extremely difficult to apply for cbd oil in NZ. Last year legislation was passed I can apply now.

I use the already vaped in my coffee!!!

I use Max V3 Pro vape.. does vape mean that not much smoke is exhaled or created by the oven. Sometimes I don’t know if mine is working or not or if I have used up what’s already in the oven. Hmm, I think the 2 advocates are guilty of getting the munchies while “researching”

Why do I cough worse when I vape vs smoke?

Vapes are generally more concentrated and powerful which can make coughing worse. Symptoms of bronchitis and inflammation to the lungs usually get better when people switch over to vaporization of herb.

When I smoke marijuana, I carefully control my dose. I usually buy a cone. I hit it one time only and put it out. I find that one puff is all it takes. My advice is to always be careful, never puff more than once. Give it a few minutes and see how you feel. You can always dose up, not down.

I got my medical cannabis card 'cause I have PTSD from my Navy services during OIF. I prefer gummies 'cause smoking and vaping burns my throat.

This is something that I have always wonder and I feel dumb for saying it…but how has Snoop Dog been able to smoke weed for so long without any lung issues? I thought maybe it’s because he smokes joints and not oil. I know we as the general public don’t know everything about a celebrities health history. But I have seen this man smoke joints for at least 20 years and he’s not currently on oxygen that I know of…. Smoking makes me very nervous about causing long-term damage to my lungs but I feel to manage my PTSD it might be the best option.

The evidence seems to support vapor rising flour over smoking. Smoking can still cause chronic bronchitis and emphysema even if it does not increase lung cancer risk. I’m not sure about Snoop, he has a superpower probably!

It makes me kind of sad to think that they have to go through all of this just because there's a social stigma on smoking.
