I appreciated your review, haven’t held the Hellcat but after holding CSX at gun store l purchased it.l like ergonomics of CSX it fits my hand great. The slide serrations are one best & really helps old guy who’s almost 70 with arthritis manipulate the slide. I like the alloy frame of CSX, l’m a old school traditionalist who likes metal pistols. The 12 + one magazine is perfect round capacity. The sights are ok, but wished they would offered them available in night sights. I too believe that all the complaints about the trigger reset is non issue and CSX has very short clean breaking trigger. There only 2 downsides to CSX that l don’t like. One is the break down off the pistol, it can be a little hard especially for older people but manageable with care & practice. The other downside is spacer on the 12 round magazine, but l believe that issue will be corrected in future. I give pistol a 4 out 5 stars. I commend Smith & Wesson for thinking outside of the box.

Being a NY resident, I don't have to worry about a 12 round magazine. But if I did, I'd just glue that spacer on. We only get two 10 round magazines.

So glad you gave an unbiased review. The comments about the CSX trigger are very likely from muscle memory on another firearm. I love my CSX, awesome concealed carry pistol with amazing accuracy and great, predictable trigger action.

Agreed! Love my CSX! 10+ 1 :). 12+1 :). At 20 yards I am as accurate with this as anything short of a 1911. I totally love the beaver tail and hammer striker. The wieght is very competitive, but it feels so good in your hand, cold, balanced weight... awesome.

I really liked the hellcat but it's too thin for me shot both at the range and ended up going with the CSX I love it

Is the trigger guard big enough for thin gloved hands? I wear large. Yeah I read some forums about polishing up the trigger and I'm a lefty and like exposed hammers. Why it wouldn't take hellcat m&p or equalizer mags? I hate the pinky hang. I Love the size the look the grip angle the bore axis it's metal love the capacity love it's Ambi. A custom 43x with shield mags like the metal Zev or Taron Tactical would be cool but not for 2K. This is the closest I've seen to my dream carry gun.

I just order the CSX on the FDE color. It looks amazing.

I’ve noticed that the “talking heads” on KZread pan it over trivial things and then people who have never touched one pile on! The people commenting who actually have one…tend to LOVE it, lol

I own a hellcat and just picked up the CSX. I don't think the trigger in my hellcat is anywhere near as good as the CSX.

Finally an honest opinion about the csx 9mm micro s+w did a marvelous job 👏

My 1911 hands down has the best trigger and reset of all my handguns, my Hellcat comes in Second. The CSX is an obvious 1911 style pistol, so I am not surprised that the CSX has a good trigger and reset.

Man, I hope we get a 2.0 CSX from Smith and Wesson. Although that doesn’t look promising due to all the negative reviews.

Had both. Still have the csx. Love rock island guns but that one had to many problems for me and also heavy and uncomfortable to carry.

Thanks for your review. You're right. Glock trigger socks. Really, any gun trigger is better than a glock. I'll carry any one of my guns over my glock.

Nice review but is it fair? After all the trigger on the Smith is a single action. The comparison is an aluminum frame handgun verses a polymer.

Was in the gun store I was looking at one of these and the salesman was saying how good they were it may be this one are the glock 48 wish one u think is a better choice

I think the csx is a better overall firearm but the Glock 48 is an amazing firearm so you can’t go wrong with either. I have both, love them both
