For EDC I’ll choose weight and concealment over capacity, especially for just 3 more in a double stack. If I’m going to the city though I’ll bring a whole different capability. If I still lived in Seattle I wouldn’t leave the house with less than 15+1 and 2 extra mags in .45 acp.

Sounds reasonable

Went to a buddies place today and shot some JHP for the first time in my P938 Legion, no malfunctions. I did put some 250 rounds of fmj threw it first since I bought it on the first of September this year (2023). Good video second time watching it!

I have a CSX and really like it. I don't have any experience with the Sig. The both look to good weapons. Whatever anyone decides to get just remember safety and practice with your weapon.

I never even thought about comparing these two, it’d be nice to see some range footage. Nice video!

Both are based on the Colt .380 Govt/Mustang platform.

I hope now that CZ owns Colt I hope they bring back the 380 Govt and mustangs.... Preferably with Novak sights. I hope they bring back the Combat Commander in 38 Super as well.

Sold my 938 kept my 238. If Sig made a double stack 938 I'd have one. Bought a Mossberg MC2sc and love it but am waiting for a Gen 2 CSX and will have one if it comes out. Strictly a more capacity thing.

Great video. I don’t own a CSX so I can’t comment on anything other than the spec sheet information. However, I have owned a P938, two of them actually, for about 10 years now. My original P938 had an issue with the seven-round magazine design; the six-round magazines always worked well. Somewhere along the line I noticed a slight design change to the seven-round magazine so I bought a couple of them and they have worked well. I also swapped out my magazine release and magazine release spring for the newest version. These minor updates resolved all of the reliability problems I was having with this design. I own this model because I prefer all metal, SA hammer-fired guns so in my view I wouldn’t compare the 938 or CSX to any striker-fired gun no matter how trendy they were or how much capacity they have. While my P938s are extremely accurate and very concealable I’d likely hold off on the CSX until there was a performance center version readily available.

For what it’s worth I sold my CSX and kept the 938

I like the micro carry lines.

Great video, I'm going to buy one or the other long time fan of the 938 but the capacity of the CSX makes it an extremely tough decision!

I own a 238 and love it but they stopped making it recently except for CA. The 938, which is the 9mm version is cool but snappy gun vs the 365. Does the S&W shoot better?

The CSX is better than the 365 because they aluminum frame the recoil is better , the grip is better you feel like you are shooting a compact handgun not a micro , before the csx I carry a sig p238 but because the round capacity In the metal frame and safety I upgrade to the CSX

Nice comparison video. I'm trying to find a subcompact / micro-9 ccw for my wife who has VERY weak grip strength. She can just barely rack the slide on a Shield EZ 9mm. Would you say either one has an easy-to-rack slide or if one is noticeably easier than the other? Thanks

I’d say they both have easier to rack slides than my P365. Have you considered a Revolver?

@@APTSynthesist Thanks! Yes we have tried revolvers, unfortunately my wife does not have grip strength to even pull a double action revolver trigger on a S&W 642 with both index fingers (oof). Does the CSX have an easier to rack slide than the P938 due to the tabs, or are they about the same?

@@xaviervalentine6195 the construction of the P938 is really impressive. It screams quality. The s&w is a nice looking piece put the trigger pad on your finger is funny hope it feels as the safe and the it has a second safety on the body. Plus the reset on the trigger I hate to say it is an issue.

What trigger issues?

@@APTSynthesist oh yes, I have heard some say that but I really didn’t have any problems with that. I agree with you that there is less felt recoil than the Kimber micro 9. I thought about getting the sigsauer P938 but I don’t think I would really be gaining anything and I would only have six or seven rounds. Although, I think the trigger feels a little nicer in the P9 38 and the micro 9. But overall, it’s hard to beat the CSX!
