Just to clarify, your accuracy test is not a gun accuracy test. It is a test of which gun YOU are more accurate with.
I liked the shield but it felt too thin in my hand same as the hellcat I went with the CSX
Love the intro, no unnecessary talking, got right into the meat of the matter. Love my CSX, no trigger issues maybe because I bought it used at a pawn shop.
my CSX's trigger smoothed out a bit without me even firing it, and it's damn nice now.
CSX is currently the ONLY micro that is ambi.
Purchased the Shield Plus two weeks ago after love at first shot on the range and multiple rentals over the past 3 - 4 months. The CSX is great, too though. That one is probably next on my purchase list.
Best review. Thank for the upclose look and function of the guns.
Over all one of the best comparisons in all aspects. 👍
This is what I needed to see. I appreciate your comparison.
Nice review with good balance of table top and range work.
Love the little duck walk. I needed that
Great review and comparison.
I have a sig p238 and that Beavertail kind of Diggs in my stomach this is why I think the 365 will be better to carry 12 or 1 o’clock position. I am wonder of the Beavertail on the CSX also diggs in to your skin ???
What about the Springfield XDS? And the Springfield Hellcat? You used a Taurus?????
Just put another 100 thrlugh the csx today. Puuting them in the same hole at 7 yards. My favorite of all the handguns i own
Great job thanks for your insight
You should add into the description all the guns tested because these are exactly all the guns I wanted to compare except for 1 the m&p shield 2.0 plus with the red dot 😁 I just got the sig p938 for my lady its an amazing sooter but lacks rounds. My EDC is a custom G19 with a 20 round mag IWB carry with a hybrid leather/kydex holster for G19 with Olight
Good review. I can feel the false reset only when I dry fire. Evidently I don’t ride the trigger at the range or the recollect pulls my finger off the trigger. I am guessing there is between 1mm to 1.8mm travel between the false reset and the actual reset. I am done with any striker fired pistol. Got a hammer fired for safety with one in the chamber.
I think the csx could have been much much better if it were da-sa decocker, I'd go buy one for sure. I cant stand having that hammer back. That's why I'm no fan of the 1911 for edc despite its great trigger.

As I can't stand having a striker cocked as well. DA/SA for me. DAO 2nd.

If you watch a few vids of how these are safe cocked and locked, you might change your mind.MUCH safer than a cocked striker fired gun with no thumb safety.
Good vid- how was the felt recoil compared?
@GearKnowHow

About the same recoil, but the grip makes it a different feel that you have to get used to
Obviously it's easier to release the slide on that Plus than it is on the first generation Shield. The only way you can do that on my shield is with two thumbs and even then it's hard. Good video.

Original shield has a slide lock. Rack the slide to release.
Late to the video. I'm still on the fence about this CSX. If they come out with a 2.0 version and fix/improve that trigger and fix that silly spacer on the 13 round mag, I might get one. I already have the P365, Shield Plus and GX4, but would love a hammer fired CCW, without having to go full on 1911.

I know I was the same way, but I kept researching the the firearm, bro they fixed the trigger months ago, yeah it was shortly after they came out but they fixed the trigger issue, also they fixed the mag issue that folks were having as well.
my CSX doesn't have that false reset at all
Should've included the Ruger Max-9 and Glock 43x.

If this video does well I may pick those up to 👍
The S&W CSX main issue is a harder to pull trigger on A SINGLE ACTION GUN. The CSX also has a "false reset". See the _Yankee Marshall_ review for a more critical review. Anyway, test this one as the CSX may become a flop.
Your "false reset" is just like everyone else on KZread. Operator error.

If your car has a false rev, is it also operator error?

@@naiyang888 No 2 pistols are the same even of the same model. All of these KZreadrs test so many pistols who could they know. I'm sure the guns they bought for themselves they know all the quirks of them.

@@LarryeWhite61 Not just KZread folks but, if everyday-citizens can run into these issues, it’s enough to cause concern and can be a liability. There’s a difference between a quirk and a defect. The trigger isn’t the only “quirk” on the CSX either. For $600, the CSX is disappointing. Hopefully S&W will have better quality control for gen 2.

Take your finger off the trigger after each shot and you won't have a problem, DON'T RIDE THE TRIGGER LIKE ITS A BI___ch.
I guarantee you my Walther PPS has a better trigger out of all those guns and it's way slimmer

The of the shield plus ? I don’t think…Anyway “ better feeling” is not necessary “ more effective” …anyway pps has poor capacity in 2022…

@@nathanielyoungman4454 you have poor mind if you are not able to see the difference between 6/7/8 rd and 10/13.
They made the CSX so that Shield Plus owners would appreciate their gun more.
CSX could a been really good but S&W fucked it up as usual. Should a done away with the ambi bull crap to keep it as thin as possible on the slide, and gave it a proper 4 lb all metal 1911 trigger without the Glock dingus. The grip is nice but the 12 round mag needs the overlay built in to the magazine so it won’t slide around on you. The EZ lightweight slide is nice though.
