I dunno how to clean that damn filter and you just saved my life.
I'm currently using Electrolux's own brand descaler/cleaner for my Zanussi Washer Dryer every 6 months or so and it seems to work well. I wouldn't recommend using the time saver when running a maintenance wash though, as you want to allow the product to remove as much gunk and limescale as possible. I always clean the filter afterwards, as I usually get chunks of limescale from the heating element trapped in the filter. Like yourself, I always leave the draw and door ajar, regularly clean the draw and regularly wash at 60 with a Bio powder containing oxygen bleach. My machine will be 7 years old in December and doesn't have any visible mold issues or smells.
Thank you very much!
Great video Roger 👌👌
I found switching to a plant-based softener has really helped reduce manky door seal. I do wipe it regularly though also.
yes instructions are online for AEG in PDF
Brilliant video legend
Thanks for the. video ! cheers
For all my front load washers I just put bleach and demestos on a 90 degree cycle and it seems to clean the door seal, the steam from the heat gets to all places of the drum under the holes,I do this like every 3 months.keeps the hoses clean too.
Thanks for the video! Really helpful

Yep
Thanks👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
You can also spray vinegar and water into the tub and after that wash with 60°c
Do you still use the AEG now you have the Miele or is your AEG at someone else's now?
My new AEG doesn't have that red spout huh :-(
When your washer stinks, make sure to clean out the catch trap on the pump which is somewhere inside the machine. Also leave the door open after each use, do not shut the door, to allow it to ventilate. Also I use Fabuloso in my washer to remove the sewer smell. It will foam up like crazy and make foam come out of the machine all over the place, but it works to get the bacteria and junk out of the drain line which causes the smells.
Buy a 5 micron water filter and fit it in the water supply line to the washing machine. It will stop sediment. You will be astonished at what it collects over time.
The bit where my washing machine detergent drawer I cannot get any mould
Can you make a playlist with all your washing machine videos

He has it now
Hi I am a pensioner and was given one 🕐 f these machines - however it seems to over fill - to the point that it seems like the door is he going to blow open : Is this a common and fixable problem ,? PS I'm pretty handy with tools etc ,- and it seems the machine spins drains : agitates etc just seems it has this one issue :thanks ok advance Bobby
On my washer, there's actually a way you can take the front bit of the draw off. So that you can easily clean it.
Just a heads up, The section where you talk about washing machine cleaners is missing the audio, Take care x

The microphone played up during that section so the audio only comes out of one speaker but I can still hear it on my iPhone, iPad and TV.
I clean the softener inside and everything you say but it is still not going down. MIne is gfw148ssm0ww softener dispenser. Anyone knows how to fix it. I do not want to open up 100s of screws...to open up. I put vinegar, hydrogen peroxide etc.. but nothing seems to do the trick Anyone can help is appreciated.

As far as I know the 8000/9000 series are made in Italy and the 6000/7000 series in Poland

Says 90-95 degrees but puts 60 degrees.. 🤔
@ibaisaic

I said in the video that the day before I used a 95 degree programme to wash some tea towels so it wasn’t necessary for me to run another 95 degree wash. I followed the instructions on the washing machine cleaner that stated run the machine on a 60 degree wash, which is what I did.
