Think Crazy Taxi meets F-Zero and Mario Kart combined. To think it was made by a Spanish video game company. I've never heard of Gaelco until this game.

Galeco was a product of the late 80s early 90s. they made a few games and toys. nothing really special. I love this game even if it is a weird ripoff of crazy taxi,probably because of its arcade style.

+fzeroman To think it fell short to Crazy Taxi, because of an open world. I think this game is a guilty pleasure in my opinion.

Actually the Taxi that jumps off the building is based off of the evil car from the movie "The Car". The designers of the game stated it back when the game was released. It was even listed as part of the trivia section of that movie on IMDB. So no it's not the batmobile like someone stated earlier in the comments.

I remember I got this game for $6 in a clearance bin. When I played it for the first time I found the game wouldn't let me save my progress which left me disappointed. However, I realized that was the best glitch the game could have done for me making it more like the arcade. I hope its not just my nostalgia talking, but I reaallly enjoyed this game.

I love this game so much. I have such happy memories of playing the arcade machine with my friends on holiday. Jonno, Jack, wherever you are, I hope life has been good to you! I miss the fuck out of those days.

This is the first game I ever played. I remember being really young and my mom came home and she'd bought the GameCube for my sister and I and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I still have the same exact GameCube, not the game unfortunately. I will get it again, even if I don't like it anymore, it's one of the most important games to me personally for being my first video game ever.

Being I live in New York and know about the taxis there, this game is surprisingly realistic and accurate.

Never noticed this till now, but when you do bonus routes, the cops are hot on your tail finally noticing how much of a reckless taxi driver you are lmao

love this arcade , what people don't know is that you have to spamm the gas pedal so you always keep speed at 100%

3:38 I'm pretty sure that Sphere was the one between the WTC towers in real life, pretty ironic they deleted the WTC out of the console version but not that, who ever was in charge of that must not have realized it was related.

This game is still playable on whatever console this is. I had and still have this game for Gameboy and it's literally unplayable, due to the fact that you can barely see what's going on. It's like the Gameboy can't process the graphics properly.

If it's the original GBA, those didn't have a backlight and it made games hard to see. If there's something else going on though, maybe the game or system has an issue, the pins on the system might not be making a solid connection to the cartridge.

This game is decent. Not great or abysmal, just plain decent, but I still think it should had remained as an arcade. When you actually play it in the real thing, it's so damn exciting. At the very least, I'd love to see it ported to iOS. Ok, the cabbie may be a reckless maniac with a pair of balls, but where the hell did he got that sweet-ass super ride?

It doesn't look too demanding, them putting it on GameCube and Xbox but not PS2 was extremely weird.

This game is very, very weird. I was expecting another game like Destruction Derby 64 because of the name, but it's more like a copy off of Crazy Taxi, but a really bad Crazy Taxi without the people.

It's obvious ignorant people do not realize that this game came out in 2000 as an arcade game first and then was transfered over to consoles in 2002 with no changes made to the game. That is why the game has the graphics it has and why it's a repetitive game.

i remember playing this shitty ass game on my gcn when i was 12 back in 02.... not only was the gameplay shitty but so was the music.. sega genesis games have better music than this
