I had dream so damn similar to this its insane and then i saw this game in a hotel arcade and instantly got reminded of the dream it wass wild

This was the only reason I would go to a bowling alley. I remember the setup and the location in the arcade room. I haven't played it for 12 years.

I love how this game is an example of how a linear game with branching paths can be so rewarding. We don’t need sandboxes all the time

A local arcade had this game in it to play...for FREE! Never knew of it from way back, but it's a lot of fun, slightly annoying music and all. Some comical touches that gave me a laugh. Definitely give it a try if/whenever you see it around.

Wtf for free? I had to pay 1€ a try and yeah back then emulators and such were less popular talking about 11 or more years ago cant remember. this game is fun as hell and challanging because of so many routes and i like the music good teenage game times never managed to finish it tho only 2 maps and not enough time on rush hour i pick it last cause its the hardest for me always last part with the dino museum

the music is soo odd. i've never heard anything so bad with a production behind it. sounds like the singer recorded his vocals in a public bathroom.

The music is very avant garde, I kinda love it cause of that, it's so obnoxiously early 2000s it's fasinating, Night Owl is my fav cause it's like somehow both energetic AND chill

This game made its work so good at making you feel like you could go through anywhere and learning all the shortcuts, it really felt like doing parkour in a monster truck.

This game gives me so much nostalgia

That taxi, in my point of view, is worthy enough to be a hot wheels car. Who agrees with me?

I was like, "damn this is just crazy taxi but on near lethal amounts of pcp" and then it hit the first bonus level

It's sad to to see that the GBA one was such a faithful port of such a subpar game

yeah, imagine if raylight studios had met vicarius visions prior to this and made the tony hawk and crash bandicoot series together.

Ohh I played this game so much on a arcade at a hotel at ibiza before they renovated and i was so hyped if we traveld there evry year😂

Sega Gameworks in vegas had this game. I was like "It's like weird crazy taxi" I enjoyed it.

The 🚕 in this game looks awesome.

Is it just me or the game looks hard as hell, the player takes most shortcuts and they still come to the checkpoint / end of route like just 1 second short

12:10 - You were saying no time outs? It wasn't for long, but I saw a time out here. And then there was a longer blatant time out at about 12:57, so... Yeah, you possibly should had called it a 1CC run. I know it's a bit of nitpicking, but I have a mild OCD case with stuff like this.

Can you get this game for PC or where can you Play it? Also a lot of noataligia for me, we played it every year on vacation, near our campsite, almost every night.

It's for Xbox, Gamecube and Game Boy Advance but I use the Dolphin Emulator to play it on PC.

Let's just say if this Arcade Game was made by SEGA then they would have fix the issues in this Game and make into an Awesome Arcade Game just like Crazy Taxi but it turns out Namco made this Arcade Game and i can understand what are the problems this Game had when it come on both the Consoles GameCube and Original Xbox. Smashing Drive has so many short-cuts you can take, this arcade game can be difficult since the time does not gave us any extra time instead gives us less time can be unfair, and lastly the songs seems to be quite wrong did the composers ever thought to get the lyrics right for these songs in a way it is good but also annoying. A part from the issues i like Smashing Drive Arcade Game.

This game seems so dull if you play it efficiently in order to actually make the extremely tight checkpoints, but you have to play like this in order to stand a chance. This game says "Look at all these fun routes you can take and all these fun things you can do, but if you don't take the right route and use the right powerups, you won't make it to the end." And the awful music doesn't help.
