The reason that Roy’s counter only works if he hits Sephiroth is because the hitpause is long enough to make his invincibility to outlast the explosion

The reason why roy/chroms counter works that way is because it doesnt have as much invincibility as marths. When it hits seph, the hitlag extends the duration of the invincibility

Don't pikachu and pichu have invincibility frames just after the lighting hits them? With pikachu it looked like you were a bit late using thunder.

Small note: almost all of the fighting game characters (ryu ken terry) should have been able to make it. Ryu and ken's tatsu is projectile invincible along with the shoryuken. Fully charged rising tackle with terry has a ton of i frames. Haven't played the game in a long time so I'd have to check it out

I like the fact kirby can just eat fire for days

Nobody is talking about olimar, a light character, surviving without even moving

I had a fight with some random person online. I was Dark Pit and he was Sephiroth. On our last life I had 146 damage and he only had 51 but I manage to reflect his Gigaflare back at him and win.

You forgot that Ike's fully charged eruption also had supper armor.

You forgot Mr. game and watch's down tilt. Jigglypuff's rest. Wario's waft and it's variants. Wii fit trainer's up smash. Greninja's side b? Shulk's brief intangiblity when he's selected a manodo art. Clouds limit break version for up b? Incineroar's up b and neutral b. Hero using hocus pocus to get invincibility. Understandable on why you didn't show that one. It can take a while to get that. Terry's buster wolf? Mii gunners absorb variant of down b.

Mii Brawler can also use suplex to beat Giga flare, whenever Mii Brawler gets a successful Suplex grab then the move has heavy armor but none of Giga flares multi hits exceed his heavy armor. If you want more info about you can check out the video Gae Gal made, it is pretty good.

That's actually a pretty interesting idea! I honestly haven't used that much Steve's blocks so I don't know xD but I will test it when I can =)

I believe that Terry can actually do It. Sakurai said that If you put his up special input he gets an invincibility Frame in the begginning of the attack. Good video regardless

Roy’s up b also has super armor like chrom. I wonder if Roy can armor through it? Also Luigi cyclone’s i-frames start frame 1 in the air so maybe he can get it off that way? Also I wonder if puff can rest through it with her i-frames?

Jigglypuff can do it, but only if it's detonated on its own. Luigi's cyclone can't last long enough to avoid it however.
