Suggestion for next year. I would like to see a "Best old phone" or something similar with a better title. Like a phone that holds up today but is like 2 years old now. This is interesting because people are keeping their phone longer and longer, and many people don't buy a new NEW phone but an older flagship like a Galaxy S9.

iPhone would win that obviously... Like the iPhone 7 Plus is still a very solid phone to use in 2020, with the good lcd screen, fast processor, good camera, good battery.. That for around 500$, even though it came out in 2017 it’s stilla very solid phone

Memory card slots (in my opinion) aren't as important as they were a few years ago, because most phones these days have 64-128 GB base storage (or even 256 GB, like the Galaxy Note 10), which is enough to 99% of smartphone users. It's still nice to have it, don't get me wrong, but it takes up more space inside a phone, while being unnecessary to most people.

Wow, LG V50S wasn't even mentioned once. For me it is the most complete and well rounded phone of 2019. ✅ Headphone Jack ✅ Micro SD Card Slot ✅ 4000 mAh Battery ✅ Snapdragon 855 ✅ Good Audio ✅ Great Display ✅ Amazing Camera (Both Photo and Video are fantastic because of manual mode) Plus you get that Dual Screen with additional features. Man, LG is so underrated and underappreciated since that G4 bootloop problem that has been fixed for years now.

The Royole FlexPai is so bad it lost the worst smartphone award lol 😂

Getting arrested by the police for sharing an opinion? That's a free speech issue. Getting your video taken down off KZread for slagging off Google? Nothing to do with free speech. It's Google's platform, if they don't like your opinion in a video you've published on their platform, they are within their rights to remove your content.

paralelmind I don’t see that. And even if he is biased towards OnePlus, he still acknowledges the phone’s weak points: camera and lack of IP rating. Just like with every other phone he reviews. And every laptop he reviews. And every other tech he reviews And cmon, I’ve been an iPhone user for the longest time, but I can see how and why Tech reviewers may be biased towards OnePlus. The specs and experience you’re getting with OnePlus is unbeatable for the price. It’s really an unfair competitor.

paralelmind ok, yeah. I just remembered that last year 2018 smartphone of the year was also a OnePlus phone, but that’s just two years. And, he still reviews every smartphone, every tech gadget fairly, stating everything’s strengths and weaknesses. And unlike Austin Evans’ recent Google Stadia review, Marques didn’t sugarcoat the Pixel 4 and even giving it the worst phone award. Marques stated what everyone thinks about the Pixel 4, unlike Austin who forgot everything bad about the Stadia and sugarcoated the review because reasons.

i hope you donate most of the phones to people who actually need one. or sell them and give some of the cash to a fund. love your work. keep doing good things kid

In fact, Marques has made quite the name for himself in the field of phone tech that he affects the marketing for the company to some notable (but not extremely significant) extent and I expect it to be more so in the future with his every growing popularity in mainstream media. He's respectfully critical and in-depth so his feedbacks are often not taken for granted. But what do I know hehehe. Merry Christmas yall

I got the pixel 4 on launch. Only complaint is the battery, they need to add a few ounces to it to get a few more hours. I can make it all day, but just barely.

My Pixel 2 has both face and fingerprint unlock. Google removed the face unlock via software update, and removed the fingerprint from the hardware of the pixel 4. Not buying another pixel phone ever again...

yo, marques pays very close attention to the timestamps. everytime you tap on a category, he made it so that you jump ahead enough to at least hear the winner of the previous one immediately, then actually reaching what you want. amazing.

I think all tech KZreadrs should arrange a tech award together

I love the Oneplus 7 plus, but I bought the 7T and I really don't regret it, it's amazing.
