This was a very simple and effective video. It showed how freeing it is to not be caught up in our materialistic possessions. I loved her smile and she was very genuine

What a wonderful tour! The TH was pretty and functional, and more a less a blank slate that Chris had added her own homey touches to. Thank you and her for the tour.

She is spot-on with the use of a larger home. My last little one just flew the nest. Even before when she was here, though, I went from my very comfy den, to the kitchen, to a small office downstairs, and to my bathroom. If my bathroom were on the same level, I probably wouldn't even go to my bedroom 🤣

Chris is very smart to try out different ideas as she goes along and change what she wants, when she wants. I love her tiny house. Looks like she has a strong community also which is so important. Repurpose is the answer. Thanks Carol for this.

Hi Chris. this is the second video tour I have watched of your home. The first one was with Randy and Amanda. I have to say again what an inspiration you are for people to live a minimalist simple life. I visited ITH in August. I loved it there and want to have a tiny home of my own. I am currently renting a 2/2 house in North Central Florida. 30 mins from Ocala. I have been downsizing since my visit.

I did start out primarily doing episodes showing nomads how to cook simple inexpensive but delicious meals on a one burner butane stove. I haven't done that in awhile. Maybe I'll do a van life cooking episode next week.😊

With a half cup of jasmine rice, fill water to 1st water line for 1 cup. Then place a fish filet like salmon, place about 6 slices of squash and a little broccoli, squeeze of lemon, sprinkle tarragon and garlic on top. Let the steamer do the rest! Serve with tarter and wasabe! Ps....retired Chef.

It’s nice but why if you have a 2/2 in Florida?

I don't think I'd like living in this community. The houses are even closer than they are in my neighborhood. That might be okay if you were in perfect harmony with your neighbors, but that doesn't pan out most of the time. No side yard would also bug me. I guess it would be alright if you don't have plans involving an extended personal garden. I'm glad this is working out for Chris, though. 👍

You have to be careful of pallets they come in 2 grades. One is treated with carcinogens that release into air
