I got this charger a few days ago great charger! I have the g2 batteries.. this battery automatically discharges? I’m still new to the hobby.. so after I’m done with my car for the weekend and leave the battery in storage for a week I hear the battery should be left at 50% ? Still learning

How can I update the S1100 G2? The ap does not recognize the charger, USB port is not linking to my computer.

My charger does not work on standard batteries of which I own a large amount. very disappointed but it could be my fault. Any ideas before i have to return it?

My ch2 port tells error 203 (reverse polarity) - no matter if I use g2 battery or any other with balance lead. How can I solve this? And second question is about ch1,ch2 calibrate function in system settings...what is it for and how to start it?

I’ve gotten a slew of G2 batteries that aren’t storage charging to completion. They eventually time out at 55-58% charged. Would it be better to fully charge them then let the battery use it programmed interval to drop to storage charge?

up to 5C is perfectly fine for these packs. 11 amps or lower is recommended.

Any promotion on this charger? I'm new to the RC hobby !

✌🏻😎🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿Any ideas on how to save a BRAND NEW G1 SPEKTRUM SMART BATTERY ? It’s a brand new battery & it’s only been used a few times. I believe it has low voltage EVEN THOUGH ITS SUPPOSED TO BE A SMART BATTERY. It doesn’t register on the smart battery checker. The battery checker won’t turn on at all. The charger thinks it’s a 2s battery instead of a 3s & don’t show any other readings. It won’t charge & immediately shows a message saying “abnormal battery connection “ PLEASE HELP

Hello! Sounds like the battery has been over discharged and is down to near zero volts.

So if you were using the Smart Charger on your Smart G1 batteries - how is it possible that they were ‘overcharged’ ? Is the Smart charger not designed to prevent that from happening ?

It means they are aware of the problem. The balance lead ports are defective and read low.

I have the S2200 charger and a pair of 3S 5000 mAh smart batteries. When these batteries are plugged in, the charger automatically sets the parameters for charging. The display shows charge voltage 4.20V and charge current 12.5A. Should I leave the charge value alone or change it to 5A? Comment, suggestion, ridicule?

12.5A is perfectly fine with those Smart batteries. G1 smart batteries can handle 3C charge rate and G2 batteries = 5C. Hope that helps!

Smart G1 batteries yes, G2 batteries we recommend using a Spektrum Smart charger

I shouldn't have to buy something else to check individual cell voltages when I purchased a SMART charger with a price point of almost 300 bucks. Complete B.S. to tell someone to spend more money

Hi there! Do you have a battery checker? is there any voltage in the pack?

Now if you only had the S2200 in stock. It’s been on back order forever.

It's safe for Lipos when charge 8000mAh in dual with lower amps because charger cant do it 8A on 2ch. Only charcge 6A on dual. Next i storage smart and non smart battery on s2100 and goes to 3,7-3,79 for non smart and 3,8-3,89 for smart and stops without beeps 0A load and time increase 3/5hrs and increaseed. When im charge only (drive/charge cycle) baterry work fine. after that i put bat to my kavan c14+ and non smart storage mode end corectly at 3,80 wtf, but i cant do that with smart batt:)

My S1200 G2 does not auto charge my G2 Smart 5000mAh 50C Both are new. Is my battery damaged? Both are new and never used. Or do i need to update my Charger?

Make sure you are plugging the battery connector all the way in, if you do not the middle pin (smart signal pin) will not make contact and the charger will not recognize the battery. Hope that helps!

☠️BLACK BARON☠️ S2200 Firmware Update has still problems balancing cells out with only one cable compared to balancing cable connections.

No parallel chargering smart batteries . I charge four batteries at time.

Can I charge the gens ace 4s batteries on this charger

Please explain "Discharge" definition and function. This is not "Storage". Try it first. I think it almost ruined my battery. It attempted to completely Discharge my battery but I stopped it. Thanks.

@@SpektrumRCvideos in TASK menu , one of 3 options is "Discharge" . In "Discharge" screen there is no item / option for setting a voltage low limit, but there is an option to setting Discharge Amp rate. Why is Discharge even a Task option when Storage is already there? I think Storage will either Discharge a fully charged battery to 3.8v (which I set) or charge a battery that I used to a voltage lower than a healthy 3.8 v.
